Anna Hodgkinson

Anna leads the Fundraising team, raising funds to support Streetwise Opera's activities and deepen relationships with funding partners. With a background in classical music, Anna worked at several music and arts organisations in the West Midlands in administrative and fundraising roles. She joined Birmingham Royal Ballet as Trusts and Foundations Officer, combining her twin passions of classical dance and Microsoft Excel, and went on to become Senior Trusts and Foundations Manager. After ten years at BRB, she joined Streetwise Opera in 2022. Anna believes strongly that everyone has the right to creative expression and she is proud to play a role in making Streetwise Opera's outstanding activities happen. Outside of work, Anna enjoys choral singing, adventure holidays, languages and films, and can often be found attempting to stop her house rabbits from eating the furniture. Anoushka Gordon

Anoushka oversees the delivery of Streetwise Opera's initiatives across Manchester and surrounding regions. Collaborating closely with our Programme Producers, she fosters partnerships, initiates projects, and engages new talents, all aimed at maximizing our positive influence on the community. With 7 years' experience in arts for social change, Anoushka has been a facilitator, coordinator and producer. She firmly believes in the power of creativity and strives to ensure equal access to creative opportunities for all, regardless of circumstances. In her free time, Anoushka enjoys painting, furniture upcycling and paying bass guitar in various music projects. Anoushka's pronouns are she/her.

Evie Fordham

Evie works closely with Anna, Jenny and Stephanie within the Development Team, focusing on Individual Giving and Events. She is extremely passionate about making the arts as accessible as possible and hopes to reflect that in her work at Streetwise Opera. Originally coming from a background in theatre, Evie most recently worked as a fundraiser at the London Sinfonietta - a contemporary classical music ensemble. She is excited to combine her love for event planning and building relationships with donors into this role. In her spare time, you will most likely find Evie with her head stuck in a book, gaming, exploring the great outdoors or binge-watching a new series. Evie's pronouns are She/Her.

Laura Seddon

Laura co-ordinates Streetwise Opera's range of activities in Greater Manchester. She supports regular group meetings and develops opportunities to engage with singing in a wide range of settings. She feels passionately that everyone deserves the opportunity to be creative in their lives and is excited to support performers on their journey to creating new work for the Re:discover project. Laura has over 10 years' experience working in the arts and heritage including running her own Sound Art commissioning organisation Contemporary Connections and being Manchester Jewish Museum's first Creative Producer. She has a PhD on the chamber music of women composers in the early twentieth century and has often used musicological research in the music of under-represented groups as the basis for socially engaged multi-arts projects. In her free-time, Laura gets out and about to Manchester's eclectic range of concerts, theatre and quirky museums. She also loves making pom poms while curled up on the sofa. Martin Constantine

Martin leads the artistic team to create and deliver an ambitious and inclusive programme co-created with people recovering from homelessness. Martin is an award-winning theatre and opera director, who has created multi-disciplinary work across art forms, focusing on engaging communities with extraordinary participatory events, and supporting the development of new voices with tailored bespoke programmes for emerging artists. He has directed for such companies as the Almeida, Royal Opera House, Bristol Old Vic, Chichester Festival Theatre, Early Opera Company, Shanghai Opera House, English National Opera, Welsh National Opera, Royal Shakespeare Company, Storyhouse and Grange Park Opera. Martin's production of Benjamin Britten's Paul Bunyan, for Welsh National Youth Opera in 2013, won a Royal Philharmonic Society Award and was nominated for a South Bank Sky Arts Award. He is currently International Chair of Directing at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, where he has been part of the team launching the new Opera School with Welsh National Opera. He wrote, and is Course Leader of, the new MA Opera Directing course - the first of its kind in the UK. The principles of co-creation have underpinned Martin's work, as he develops high-profile productions with different communities of participants, including secondary school students, children with autism, adults recovering from severe mental health issues, people with learning disabilities, and prisoners at HMP Winchester.

Rachael Williams - CEO

Rachael took on the post of Chief Executive Officer in January 2022. She has built a brilliant reputation in the theatre and opera sectors by leading arts organisations that punch above their weight and create thought-provoking and memorable productions. Since October 2016, Rachael has overseen the growth and expansion of Park Theatre's activities and team, increasing in-house productions, including sell-out shows like Rosenbaum's Rescue and the star-studded WhoDunnit [Unrehearsed]; developing and strengthening work with the Finsbury Park community, and nurturing young companies and artists. Before that, as the first Executive Director at Improbable (2013-2016), Rachael led the theatre company's return to mid-scale touring with their production of Opening Skinner's Box and co-productions with English National Opera of Akhnaten by Philip Glass and Mozart's Così fan tutte. At Gate Theatre (2009-2013), Rachael was a producer for the original production of George Brant's haunting and powerful monologue Grounded.

Stephanie Stahlmann

Our Arts Administrator, Stephanie provides administrative support across all areas of Streetwise over 2-3 days per week. As a freelance Violinist and Teacher, Stephanie has a diverse portfolio of work alongside her role at Streetwise. Prior to joining the Streetwise team, she has worked for the English National Opera's Learning and Participation department, and the Music in Secondary Schools' Trust. Stephanie is particularly interested in improving SEND music provision. If Stephanie is not working, you will find her swimming laps at the lido, cooking something tasty, or on the sofa with a cup of tea and a Rubix Cube. Stephanie's pronouns are she/her.
