For over 17 years, Andy has been the Vice President of Sales for Raymarine, overseeing a vast territory that spans Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and the Pacific region. His extensive experience and deep understanding of the boating industry have made him an invaluable asset to the company.

Anton Östlund

Introducing Anton Östlund, Raymarine Sales Manager for Sweden. Anton has sailed since childhood but mainly cruising with family and friends until he was about 20. He then started competing on different boats with more serious teams and higher ambitions. Anton loves the teamwork involved in big boat racing. It is exhilarating how each crew member has a different but crucial task and how everything must work perfectly in order to perform. The combination of tactics, strategy, sail trim, steering and boat handling all contributes to the success of the team. It is also brilliant how the team plans and practises every footstep during a manoeuvre to optimise performance.

Hans-Christian Grande

He started competitive sailing with Matchracing and the Melges 24 fleet before moving on to bigger classes and IRC racing, including the Farr40 fleet, both at national and international level. He started his Formula 18 career in 2010 and competed for a number of years. Nowadays, Hans-Christian now enjoys spending time afloat on his Grand Soleil 39 "Forza" which he has had since 2012. He uses the boat for both racing, and cruising with friends and family.

Marie-Claire Sothcott

Meet Marie-Claire Sothcott, a seasoned marine professional and Global Product Manager for Raymarine based in the UK. While many people consider sailing a mere hobby, for Marie-Claire, it has become a way of life. Initially, she approached sailing as a recreational activity, having been a powerboater for a number of years, but never expecting to be fully captivated. To her surprise, she discovered the exhilaration and competitive spirit that sailing offers. She initially joined her friends as a crew member on an 81ft Yacht, before participating in university nationals, racing at Cowes Week and then becoming a part of the Victory Class in Portsmouth. She now competes regularly in the class.

Mark Goodyear

Mark Goodyear is Regional Sales Manager in central Canada. His sailing journey began at the age of four when he began accompanying his father on sailing and maintenance days on the family's new 26ft boat. These formative experiences meant he learned how to handle and maintain a vessel from an early age and gave him fond memories of time spent with his father. Mark went to a sailing school and joined their racing team, later developing an interest in racing on larger keelboats and being part of a crew. The social aspect of sailing has continued to be important to Mark, having met most of his closest friends through the sport. Since beginning sailing, Mark has had extensive experience on a range of boats including: the Laser, J24, J70, J35, Melges 20, Melges 32, Corsair F27 trimaran and now his own Offshore 38 Catamaran.

Meet Carl-Erik Branting, the Sales Manager for Raymarine in Norway. Sailing has been a part of Carl-Erik's life since he was just eight years old. He started with windsurfing and accompanying his parents on sailing trips, eventually progressing to owning his own sailboat in his early twenties. While his sailing adventures mostly involve cruising, he has also dabbled in racing and embarked on longer voyages, including a passages from France to Norway. Carl-Erik Branting's passion for sailing and his extensive experience both on and off the water make him a valuable asset to Raymarine. Paul Childs

Having worked in the marine and maritime industry for many years as well as studying Watersports Studies and Management at Solent University, Paul is certainly experienced in connecting customers with market-leading electronics for sailors. His professional affiliation with boating only scrapes the surface of Paul's experience, however. In fact, he has been a professional elite level sailing competitor himself, and continues to race keelboats and dinghies professionally.

Will Sayer

Will Sayer, is a Director of Product Management and global sailing experience lead based in Fareham, UK. It is safe to say he is incredibly passionate about sailing. His experience and love extends to multiple types of water sports including: racing dinghies, racing and cruising yachts, kitesurfing, wing surfing, RIB's, paddle boarding, and kayaking. Will's first encounter with the water happened when he was a child and his parents took him for his first sailing lesson on the North Norfolk coast in the summer holidays. It was an attempt to find a hobby Will would enjoy (he had previously tried and disliked many, including karate and horse riding).
