Cadwyn was set up as a cooperative in rural Wales in the 1970's to promote the products of Welsh craft industries. By the end of the 1980's, Cadwyn began to work also with groups of crafts people in the developing countries of north and west Africa... Our company was set up by people involved in campaigning to secure a future for Welsh-speaking communities and to win freedom for Wales to take it's place among the nations of the world and make direct contact with other peoples... Collections of Welsh Gifts and produce, including Welsh Love Spoons, and also Fair Trade gifts from Africa and the world. A family business based in the west of Wales est. 1973.
