Miss Jacqueline Johnson

Jacqueline is the face and voice of ARKrights. She is the initial point of contact for all telephone calls and enquiries. Jacqueline also assists with the efficient running of the Administrative functions of the office. Jacqueline has over 10 years previous experience in client services. Outside of work Jacqueline enjoys cooking. She is also the proud mother of two.

Miss Lucy Fox

  • HEAD of HOUSING DEPARTMENT
Lucy is the Head of ARKrights Housing Department. Lucy qualified as a Solicitor in 2011 and joined ARKrights the same year. Lucy is a joint supervisor of the Housing Department. Lucy advises on all aspects of Housing Law, including, Anti-Social Behaviour, Injunctions, Possession Proceedings, Homelessness, Disrepair and Unlawful Evictions. Lucy has worked on a number of current leading cases in this area of Law. Outside of work Lucy is the proud mother of teenage twins. She also likes to attend sporting events. She regularly watches Watford FC and England, Boxing, Athletics and Tennis.

Miss Moobina Begum

Moobina is a Legal Assistant at ARKrights. Moobina joined ARKrights in 2021 after completing the LPC at the University of Westminster. She is deeply passionate about private client law and hopes to use the law to protect the most vulnerable people in society. Whilst at University, she volunteered as a legal advisor and assisted clients in the areas of Housing, Family and Employment law. She simultaneously worked as an English tutor and managed a tuition centre where she worked closely with young people. Outside of work, Moobina enjoys reading a good book with cup of tea and is fluent in Bengali.

Miss Naviya Shah

Job Titles:

Naviya joined ARKrights in October 2021 and is currently part of the administration team at ARKrights. She loves the legal field and is aspiring to qualify as a solicitor. Naviya became passionate about the law during her A-levels and subsequently went on to complete her LLB at the University of Leicester in 2019. In 2020, Naviya successfully completed her LPC at University of Law in Moorgate, with an LLM in Professional Legal Practice. Naviya's Masters dissertation focused on how the law relating to surrogacy protects the child, surrogate mother and intended parents. Outside of work, Naviya loves cooking, is an avid food blogger (with her own blog) and enjoys travelling.

Miss. Zuzana Kucerkova

Zuzana is the newest addition to the administration team at Arkrights Solicitors. Before joining Arkrights, she studied at Nottingham Trent University where she completed an LLB (Hons) International Law degree. Alongside working at Arkrights, Zuzana volunteers for social organisations that provide free legal advice to those most disadvantaged in society. Her long-term plan is to qualify as a solicitor. In her free time Zuzana enjoys going to dance class, yoga and trying new recipes. She is also fluent in Slovak and Czech and can speak some Russian and Polish.

Mr. Alan Durling

Job Titles:

Alan is a very experienced solicitor specialising in Family Law. He is a Children's Representative of the Children Accreditation Scheme (Children Panel) and a member of the Family Panel. He has wide and current experience of divorce and separation, financial provision, domestic violence and cohabitation as well as detailed knowledge of and practise in Children Law, both public and private. Alan is an enthusiastic member of the profession and applies this enthusiasm with drive and attention to detail. He has a good connection with clients and an ability to communicate with those who need a sympathetic and understanding approach. In children cases, he is able to assist and represent clients in emergency applications and where it is necessary to settle arrangements for children. Alan has wide experience in issues including care proceedings, placement order applications, adoption applications, Public Law Outline/letter before proceedings child protection and child in need negotiations and advice, child arrangement orders, prohibited steps and specific issue orders and wardship applications. Outside of work: he is a married man with five adult children. He has a lifelong interest in rugby and cricket and enjoys walking and exploring the countryside. Alan enjoys visits to the theatre and watching sci-fi films on the cinema big screen.

Mr. Amin Sharif

Amin is a deeply enthusiastic costs draftsman and acts as the driver behind ARKrights In-House Billing Department. Amin is a driven and approachable individual who came to ARKrights in 2014 and has bolstered the billing team since then. He deals with the more complex Housing and Family billing matters. Outside of work, Amin enjoys gaming and going to music concerts and the cinema.

Mr. Andrew Perera

Andrew is the newest recruit to ARKrights Housing Department. Andrew qualified as a Solicitor in 2016. He joined ARKrights in September 2017 in order to strengthen the Department. Andrew advises on all aspects of Housing Law including Possession proceedings, Homelessness, Disrepair and Unlawful Evictions. Andrew graduated from the University of Staffordshire in 2012. He subsequently went on to complete an LLM in Transnational Criminal Justice and an MBA. Andrew has also completed the Certificate stage from the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Andrew is currently studying for a Doctorate in Business Administration. Outside of work Andrew enjoys playing and watching cricket. Andrew is fluent in Sinhalese.

Mr. Imran Sarfraz

Imran is a Trainee Solicitor in ARKrights Housing Department. Imran joined ARKrights Solicitors in 2013 after having gained a 1st class honours from the University of Hertfordshire. Imran has gained extensive experience in all aspects of Housing Law. He regularly advises clients with respect to Homelessness, Possession proceedings and Unlawful Evictions. Outside of work Imran is a sports enthusiast. He supports Manchester United and also enjoys playing and watching cricket.

Mr. Lee Fox

Lee joined ARKrights in January 2018. Lee works as a Costs Draftsman in ARKrights In-House Billing Department. Lee has extensive experience in several different consumer facing industries. Lee has proved to be an asset to the team due to his insightfulness and dedication to the role. Outside of work Lee is a season ticket holder at Watford Football Club.

Mr. Mandeep Gill - Founder

Mandeep is the founder of ARKrights. Mandeep is passionate about law and about doing the best for all his clients. Mandeep is committed to striving to achieve excellence in his work, and to enthuse commitment and excellence in those that work at ARKrights. Mandeep's passion lies in the areas of civil litigation, housing law and employment law. Mandeep is proud to have been the Solicitor responsible for a number of key changes in the areas of housing law, and civil practice. Mandeep is a keen advocate time permitting. Outside of work, Mandeep is the proud father of two daughters, a very bouncy Hungarian Viszla and a keen sports enthusiast.

Mr. Mark Swann

Mark is a Supervising Solicitor within the Housing Department. Mark joined ARKrights in 2013 after having previously worked at Shelter for many years. Mark is a compassionate and determined advocate in the local County Courts. Mark advises on all areas of housing law including claims for possession, disrepair proceedings, evictions and homelessness. Mark regularly acts for both landlords and tenants. Outside of work, Mark is a keen runner and walker.

Mr. Nasrat Mir

Nasrat joined ARKrights Solicitors as a Legal Assistant in August 2021. He is a passionate, enthusiastic individual and assists all fee earners in the ARKrights team. Nasrat studied Law at the University of Hertfordshire prior to successfully completing the Legal Practice Course with an LLM in Professional Legal Studies at the University of Law in Moorgate. Nasrat relishes the challenge of working in the legal profession. Nasrat enjoys bringing his knowledge and experience to bear in resolving complex legal problems, and thrives on succeeding in securing favourable outcomes for those he assists. Outside of work Nasrat is a personable individual, and an avid cricket fan, enjoying both playing and watching Cricket. Nasrat is fluent in Arabic, Persian, Urdu and Hindi.

Mrs. Krishna Gill

Krishna works as ARKrights Practice Manager. Prior to opening ARKrights in 2005, Krishna worked as a CIMA qualified Accountant for a number of high profile multi-national companies. Krishna is a personable and passionate individual who has been instrumental in establishing ARKrights presence as a leading provider of specialist legal services. Krishna is the appointed COFA. Over recent years Krishna has been responsible for overseeing the growth and development of ARKrights. Outside of work Krishna is a proud mother of two girls. She is also known for being passionate about food.
