Recruitment Manager, Chris, brings with him over 20 years of recruitment experience in the legal, pharmaceutical, retail and professional services industries. Chris joins our established North desk, predominantly in the Greater Manchester area, specialising in Corporate and Commercial and Legal IT recruitment.
With his extensive relationship skills and knowledge, Chris is well on his way with helping legal professionals in the North secure their next legal job, and providing service excellence to law firms to help them achieve their hiring goals.
Recruitment Consultant, Chris joined Clayton Legal in 2022 following a career in Law - with previous experience as a Paralegal, Fee Earner, and Department Head, specialising in the Personal Injury sector for both high street and Top 100 Firms.

With a degree in Law, Data Analyst James is a long-serving member of the Clayton team, and has worked across the business in a number of roles during his time here. With experience in a direct recruiting capacity, as well as general management of our database and systems, James has extensive knowledge of our processes and business operations.
Amongst many other things, James is ultimately responsible for data integrity, internal auditing and front-line business development ensuring that everything we do is in line with our professional standards and good business practice.
In her role as Accounts Assistant, Jemima has responsibility for sales and purchase ledger duties, invoicing and general administrative duties within the finance team. Meticulously organised and a stickler for detail, Jemima also liaises with clients and 3rd party suppliers- fielding communications, preparing reports and analysing financial information in order to identify discrepancies.
Recruitment Consultant, Jennifer, joined the Midlands team at Clayton Legal in 2023. With previous experience as a paralegal in the conveyancing sector, Jennifer has a wealth of knowledge, which she now uses to place conveyancing professionals at all levels in their dream roles across the region.

With a degree in Chemistry, Joel brings a much-needed element of scientific analysis to our marketing activity, as well as previous marketing experience working in the public sector.

Regional Manager Matt has an extensive 10-year career in recruitment, working across banking and financial services, professional services and IT recruitment before making the move to legal services five years ago, with himself specialising in the niche area of Law Costs.
