PIUS HUME

Pius Hume is an accredited Royal schools of music singing teacher. He is a former staff director of the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, Glyndebourne Opera House and Glyndebourne Touring Opera. He was until recently Vocal consultant to the Royal Opera School of Oman and is a former lecturer and teacher at Morley College London, Rotherham College of Arts and Technology and the Sheffield Music Academy... Pius has worked with Jose Carreras, Agnes Balza, Felicity Lott, Ryland Davis, Robert Teare, Dame Josephine Barstow, Claudio Desderi, Ruggerio Raimondi, Anne Sofie Von Otter, Gwyn Howells, Denis O'Neil, and many other world famous singers. Pius has also worked with renowned conductors such as Sir Edward Downes, Sir Charles McRerras and Gennady Rozhdestvensky. Pius has also directed actors such as Alan Bates and Rebecca Hall.
