PORTCHESTER FUN DAYS

Many thanks to all everyone involved in the Portchester Fun Day held at Portchester Precinct on Saturday September 10th, we managed to raise a whopping £819.86 towards a defibrillator for Portchester precinct! The use of a defibrillator in cases of cardiac arrest can increase chances of survival from 6% to 75% (when used within 5 minutes of collapse), so this equipment has the potential to save many lives. Special thanks go to the Portchester Traders Association for helping to organise the day and all of the stall holders, local businesses, classic car owners and band members for coming down in the pouring rain to support the cause.
