Abbey Patterson is an associate senior consultant at RRS with over 25 years of experience in waste management, recycling program development, government affairs, and marketing. Abbey also has extensive experience in institutional, airport, and event recycling including the 1996, 2000, and 2002 Olympic games. Her reach has extended to both public and private entities to increase material recovery through planning, public/private partnerships, implementation, and education.
Alex is an analyst with RRS. She graduated from Loyola University Chicago in 2020 and 2021, first with a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Policy followed by a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Sustainability. Alex provides several skills to her projects, with background in data collection, deliverable creation, waste auditing, and training others.

Amanda first joined RRS as a communications consultant and enjoyed supporting RRS clients across the country. Now, she serves as RRS' marketing manager where she helps tell RRS story and share how our staff and clients are working to create a more sustainable world. She supports strategic communication and marketing planning, campaigns, media relations, audience analysis, and event planning. Prior to RRS, Amanda worked for the City of Grand Rapids, City of Wyoming, and The Rapid (Grand Rapids area public transportation system) where she specialized in communication, marketing, and community engagement.

Anna Lynott is a principal at RRS with over 15 years of experience. Her extensive project experience covers planning, implementation and coordination of recycling programs, as well as community outreach and stakeholder facilitation and engagement. Anna currently plays a key role managing the Carton Council project, a collaborative initiative focused on increasing carton recycling in the U.S.

Anne Johnson is a Principal and Vice President of Global Corporate Sustainability for RRS. She has more than 20 years of multi-disciplinary experience working with global consumer product brands and manufacturers on sustainable product and packaging design and recovery, as well as corporate sustainability strategy and goal setting. Anne was key in developing RRS TruCycle®, a packaging assessment that analyzes recyclability or compostability.

Annie White is an associate senior consultant at RRS bringing over 21 years of experience in solid waste and recycling programs, sustainable packaging, as well as corporate and urban sustainability. Prior to RRS, Annie was the program manager for the Office of Waste Diversion, Department of Public Works in Washington DC, where she developed and implemented policies and programs for waste prevention, reuse, recycling, composting, co-digestion, contamination reduction, multifamily, and transfer station activities. She was also instrumental in infrastructure planning for waste, recycling, and organics systems. Annie held several leadership positions including the director for Global Green's New York Office, led the Coalition for Resource Recovery, launched and was director of the Sustainable Packaging Coalition (SPC), and worked with McDonough Braungart Design Chemistry developing sustainability curricula for product development teams.

Beth Coddington is a senior consultant with RRS with 10 years of experience in data management, models and projections, and financial analysis. Beth draws on statistical models to develop metrics, evaluate multiple scenarios, determine the impact of each option, and provide budget projections that build the business case for making recycling program investments. Beth is a Waste360 40 Under 40 award recipient.

Brennan Madden is a senior consultant with RRS. His technical skill set is highlighted by detailed data analysis, geographic information system (GIS) mapping, model development, lifecycle analyses, and database development and management. Brennan has been integral in refining the TruCycle recyclability/compostability assessment; developing a database cross-referencing U.S. communities, recycling facilities, recycled commodity end markets, schools and haulers; and modeling an optimized system of MRFs and transfer stations.

Bryce Hesterman joined RRS in late 2017 bringing over 15 years of experience in data research, analysis, and reporting, as well as project management and communications. Prior to joining RRS, he co-founded a paper shredding, recycling, and e-waste company where he had primary direction over the New York metro region business operations.

Carrie Bell is the Proposal Coordinator at RRS. Carrie oversees proposal development and coordination. She has five years of experience developing procurement and related materials, report writing, and editing. Her experience extends into public and nonprofit sectors, and includes RFP development, public engagement, fundraising, and community education.

Catherine Goodall is a principal at RRS with over 18 years of packaging sustainability and recovery experience. She has consulted for trade associations, brand owners, packaging converters and packaging supply chains to develop and implement sustainability metrics, policies, and platforms to drive improvements in the environmental performance and recoverability of their products. Catherine also has in depth knowledge of extended producer responsibility laws in Europe and other regions, having tracked policy developments and assisted companies with EPR compliance.

Charles Ramer is a Senior Consultant at RRS, bringing 30 years of experience in developing and implementing progressive, results oriented, cost effective, solid waste management programming. Charles has extensive experience in MRF operations, routing efficiency, and market development from his tenure in Surprise Arizona, and as the Director of the award-winning Portage County Ohio Solid Waste District. From his experience on the Leadership Team of Ohio's largest energy aggregator, Charles also has experience in green energy and the impact on carbon reduction and sustainability.

Chris King is a senior engineer with RRS bringing extensive experience in design, configuration, and data analysis. His experience has crossed several industries including aerospace and automotive, but all have required an attention to detail and data specification to develop and design critical components for projects. Chris' data analysis and database management contribution has reinforced the real-world, scientific approach of RRS.

Ché joined RRS as the Financial Controller in 2021. With over 25 years of experience in accounting, operations management, and business administration and with degrees in Accounting and Internal Auditing, Ché has a passion for continuously expanding controls, efficiencies, and automation across the organization. Ché oversees and manages all accounting and finance functions at RRS, including day-to-day bookkeeping, taxes, audits, controls, and compliance.
Coco is an Analyst with RRS. Coco joined RRS after completing her Master of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. There she concentrated in Urban Science and Sustainability Development and Data Analytics. Working with PYXERA Global and Mansueto Institute for Urban Innovation during her MPP empowered her to merge her background in research and consumer behavior with topics of waste and energy to design circular economy policy recommendations. Coco has been recognized for bringing creative thinking to challenging projects and as a conduit for success in cases of projects with many stakeholders.

Elisa Seltzer joined RRS in March of 2019 as a senior consultant. Prior to RRS, Elisa spent 30 years with Emmet County, Michigan, as the public works director. During her tenure she helped the county reach a diversion rate approaching 50%, spearheaded the successful bin-to-cart transition for six municipalities, and managed a regional facility that included a material recovery facility (MRF), a transfer station, and a compost facility. She also collaborated with private haulers and government stakeholders, oversaw the solid waste management planning process, developed markets for many hard-to-recycle materials, and developed and oversaw the residential and commercial curbside routes and drop-site recycling sites in Emmet and four partner counties. In her role as an RRS senior consultant, Elisa will focus on assisting communities in developing and improving recycling and composting programs, cultivating public-private partnerships, and strategically connecting the right resources to move communities toward zero waste and sustainability goals.
