Mr Reynolds joined the Board as from 1 August 2021.
He has over 40 years' experience in the mining and minerals industry, commencing his Directorship career in 2010 at Morila, a Randgold Resources subsidiary. He is currently a Director of Resolute Mining Limited and has previously held Directorship positions at Somilo SA (a Randgold Resources subsidiary), Aureus Mining Limited, Digby Wells Environmental, Geodrill Limited, Acacia Mining Plc, GT Gold Corporation and Mkango Resources Limited. Mr Reynolds is a fellow of the Geological Society of South Africa. He is a registered Professional Natural Scientist and holds a Masters of Science in Geology obtained from Rhodes University in 1979, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Engineering obtained from the University of Witwatersrand in 1987.

Mr Jordaan is a Mechanical Engineer who started his career at AngloGold Ashanti's Vaal River Operations in 1998.
He was appointed as a section engineer after he obtained his Government Certificate of Competency in 2000 and went on to work as a production engineer, shaft engineer and vertical transport manager on the Vaal River and Western Deep Levels operations. Between 2006 and 2010, Mr Jordaan was a project manager for DRA Mineral Projects when he managed platinum projects for Aquarius Platinum, and Marula Platinum, and completed the feasibility study for the Booysendal project (greenfields) on behalf of Northam Platinum. Mr Jordaan joined Sylvania in 2011 to manage safety, health and engineering standards on the existing chrome and platinum retreatment operations and the Company's business development portfolio.
Mr Mothiba has almost 30 years of Human Resources industry experience. He has extensive experience in the mining sector having previously worked for Anglo American, Impala Platinum.

Ms Carr joined the Board of Sylvania Platinum Limited on 1 May 2015 and was appointed as Chair of the Board on 1 January 2024.
She is a Chartered Certified Accountant with an MSc in Management from London University and is a SLOAN Fellow of London Business School. Ms Carr has over 35 years of experience within the resources sector, having worked worldwide on a host of large-scale mining operations. She was appointed Finance Director of Cluff Resources in 1993 and has, since that time, held several executive directorships in the resources sector, including CFO for Monterrico Metals plc, the AIM-listed copper exploration company developing the Rio Blanco project in Peru. Her first Non-Executive role was for Banro Corp in 1998 and, more recently, she has been a Non-Executive Director for Bacanora Lithium Plc. Currently, Ms Carr is Non-Executive Chairman of Oriole Resources Plc.

Mr Joubert started his career at Anglo Platinum in 2003 as a metallurgical student.
He then studied in the field of Chemical Engineering and obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical, with specialisation in Mineral Processing) from the University of Potchefstroom in 2009 after which he worked at the Anglo Platinum Rustenburg and Mogalakwena sections. He joined Sylvania in 2013 and has been working on the eastern operations in technical and operational capacities since. He currently heads up the Eastern operations for Sylvania.

Mr Prinsloo was appointed as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and admitted to the Sylvania Board since March 2020.
Since January 2012, he has served in senior positions at Sylvania, initially as Executive Officer: Operations and as Managing Director of the South African Operations from March 2014, until his appointment to his current position. Prior to joining Sylvania, Mr Prinsloo was principal metallurgist at Anglo American for Anglo Operations Limited, following eight years at Anglo American Platinum Limited from 2002 in various senior metallurgical positions across the Group. During the past 20 years in the mining industry, he has been exposed to various operational and technical aspects of both the South African and international mining landscape and he has gained experience in both the precious and base metals sectors. Mr Prinsloo is a metallurgical engineer and holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Metallurgy from Pretoria University, a Postgraduate Diploma in Business Administration and an MBA from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (UP).

Mr Van der Schyff is an Extraction Metallurgist who started his career in 1976 with JCI Johannesburg Consolidated Investments (JCI). He joined JCI Gold, and Placer Dome, before moving to Anglo American Platinum in 2002. Towards the end of 2016 he joined Waleed Investment Holdings and GTS Technologies joining Sylvania in 2020. He holds a Higher National Diploma in Extractive Metallurgy and a National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering.
After qualifying in 1980, Mr van der Schyff spent 22 years in the gold mines. He was Metallurgical Manager of Western Areas Gold Mine before being tasked with the process design of South Deep Gold Mine in 2000. He moved to Amplats in 2002 as Business Area Manager of the Twickenham project and some seven months later moved to Union Mine as Business Area Manager, In 2012 he was transferred to the Amandelbult Mine as Concentrator Manager, responsible for all the Processing Operations, Laboratory and Chrome Plants. His experience over the past 47 years includes operational management, project management, design and commissioning of brownfields and greenfields operations in the gold, platinum and chrome sectors. In 2016, he joined Waleed Investment Holdings as Group Technical Advisor Mining and Beneficiation with specific involvement in the Kilken Tailings Retreatment Operations, together with a dual function as General Manager of GTS Technologies. Mr van der Schyff joined Sylvania in 2020 as Executive Officer Operations of both Eastern and Western Operations.

Mr Williams is a Chartered Accountant with over 20 years' international experience in mining finance and holds an honours degree in French and Spanish.
After joining Randgold Resources in 1997, he was appointed Group Finance Director in 2002. Mr Williams went on to become Chief Financial Officer of JSE-listed AECI Limited. He has served on a number of boards in the mining and mining services sectors and is currently a non-executive director of Digby Wells Environmental and part-time CFO of a privately-owned mining company.

Mr Scott joined the Board on 1 January 2022 and has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry.
Mr Scott joined the Board on 1 January 2022, is Chair of the Audit Committee and has over 25 years of experience in the mining industry, including 15 years in PGM, with Anglo American Platinum and Lonmin, where he held a number of senior positions, including CFO and CEO.
He currently serves on the Board of First Quantum Minerals Limited and AngloGold Ashanti Holdings plc and has previously held executive directorship positions at Lonmin plc, Aveng Limited, Anglo American Platinum Limited, JP Morgan Chase and Chubb Holdings Limited. Mr Scott is a Chartered Accountant and a professional member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants. He holds both a Bachelor of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Commerce degree obtained from the University of Witwatersrand and has also completed a Management Development Program at the University of Cape Town.

During the financial year under review, there were three formal Directors' meetings and five information/strategy sessions. All other matters that required formal Board resolutions were dealt with via written circular resolutions and through conference calls. In addition, the Directors met on an informal basis at regular intervals during the year to discuss the Group's affairs.

Mr Murray has over 30 years of executive experience in the Southern African platinum sector, commencing his career at Impala Platinum's Refineries in 1984.
He held a number of positions at Impala Platinum, Rhodium Reefs, Barplats and Middelburg Steel and Alloys, before joining Aquarius Platinum Limited in 2001 as Chief Executive Officer, holding that position until 2012. He was a Non-Executive Director of Talvivaara Mining Company Plc, the former Finnish nickel miner, and is the Chairman of Imritec Limited, an aluminium by-products recycler.

Mr Rasephei is a qualified Extraction Metallurgist who holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from Technikon Witwatersrand (currently known as University of Johannesburg).
He possesses over 20 years of post-grad experience from different mining companies after completing his degree in 2002. He started his career at Anglo Platinum (Waterval Smelter) as a Graduate Metallurgist and progressed to a position of Process Metallurgist before joining Samancor Western Chrome Mines as Metallurgical Plant Superintendent. He later joined Lanxess Mining as Metallurgical Manager for two years before joining Sylvania in 2013, as a Plant Manager at the Lannex operation. Mr Rasephei currently holds the position of Operations Manager for the Western Operations.
