Ayres Violins was set up by Paul Ayres in 1984 and has grown into a thriving establishment for repairs, restorations and violinmaking. Paul was joined by Dave Slight in 2000 and the workshop has since gone from strength to strength... Ayres Violins' purpose-built workshop is situated in Didsbury Village. Didsbury is a vibrant community, six miles south of Manchester city centre, with many restaurants, cafés, shops and excellent transport links to Manchester and other parts of the region. The workshop is open Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm. Applications for part time work will also be considered.
