Ann Bridges

Ann is an energetic and experienced facilitator and coach with 20 years Learning and Development experience, gained in FMCG and corporate service sectors. As one of our Workplace Coaches, she will bring her significant practical experience of managing both large and small teams to support our Apprentices as they journey through their programme. Her passion for developing line managers & individuals to be the best they can be, creating high performing teams whilst fostering empathetic leadership will be crucial to the development of skills by her Apprentices and successful completion of their apprenticeship programmes. Ann loves nothing better than helping learners develop and grow to become the best versions of themselves. She has coached and mentored graduates at the start of their careers right through to senior leaders at the top of their careers, proving that everyone has something to work on! A constant advocate of learning, she likes to keep herself busy and loves a challenge. Her biggest one was completing an MBA whilst working full time . . . an experience she won't forget in a hurry!

Carmen Morris

Carmen has been a close and valued associate of the ioda family for over 15 years. With over 25 years' experience in the field of diversity and inclusion, she has significant experience across a wide spectrum of diversity and inclusion, including strategic diversity management, training and development and consultancy. Carmen is experienced at working within large complex organisations, ensuring that diversity and inclusion strategies are aligned to local, regional, national and global HR and business functions. She supports organisations, across industries and sectors, to develop leadership around inclusion. She has supported a wide range of organisations, to design more inclusive workplace environments, through the delivery of coaching and mentoring services to staff at all levels. Carmen has supported a wide range of clients across industries, to design and develop and roll out, diversity and inclusion priorities. She takes a strategic approach to developing and cultivating a mindset for equity and belonging, within project deliverables. Carmen is also a diversity and inclusion expert contributor on diversity and inclusion on Forbes.co

Claire Burgess

Claire is a huge advocate for the benefits coaching can bring on a personal and professional level. She has been a qualified coach for 10 years, working with clients across the private, public and education sectors. The pinnacle of her achievements to date is receiving the ‘Best Women in Leadership Coach' award in 2021. Alongside her coaching she delivers accredited training to coaches within organisations, as well as to individuals studying on the Certificate in Coaching at the University of Cambridge. She has recently trained as a Coach Supervisor, supporting coaches with their ongoing development and resilience. The core of her work has an EDI focus, which links closely to her values of equity and fairness.

She brings her amazing background in leading and directing teams to success to develop her Apprentices skills and knowledge across the broad spectrum of management and leadership. Her understanding of working at a strategic level, defining customer strategy, driving cultural change through innovative approaches and providing leadership and support to high performing teams enables her to develop her Apprentices into resilient and effective leaders and managers.

Emily Mellors

With over sixteen years' experience of delivering employment, care, health, and housing services to people with a diverse range of complex and challenging needs, Emily's skills in supporting individuals were an easy fit into the ioda team. Initially joining the ioda team as an Equality and Diversity trainer, working predominantly in the Emergency services, her outstanding coaching skills were soon recognised and with this, she moved across to our Workplace Coaching team, supporting our Apprentices across the Yorkshire region. This role runs parallel to all learning activities for Apprentices and provides the one-2-one support that is so essential in ensuring successful completion of the apprenticeship. As a Workplace Coach, Emily provides guidance, support and feedback throughout the apprenticeship, visiting the Apprentices on-site on a monthly basis and engaging with them on-line, by telephone and through webinar tutorials.

Emma Coller

Emma is an experienced and qualified coach, trainer and facilitator. Using creative techniques Emma utilises her deep knowledge and understanding of human thinking and behaviour to challenge thought patterns and perspectives. Emma loves designing bespoke training for maximum impact and inclusivity, ensuring the client and her learners are at the heart of all she does. Emma has a unique and varied background and this is utilised and drawn upon to create innovative solutions in the classroom and in her consultancy work. Previous roles have seen him working in the Middle East where he has worked in senior management positions and has overseen large change programmes as well as training and coaching manager in business processes and performance management.

Gwyn Thomas

Gwyn has significant strategic leadership experience within the UK & overseas and this is reflected in him being the holder of the coveted Chartered Manager (CMgr) Award for which he is also an advisor, assessor, moderator and tutor assessor. He is a qualified professional trainer and has designed, developed and delivered many strategic / senior level cross sector leadership learning programmes for a variety of different organisations. He holds a Post Graduate Certificate (Distinction) in Post Compulsory Education & Training (PCET)and a Master Diploma (M.dip) in Learning & Development, a Diploma (Dip.) in Learning Facilitation and a Certificate (Cert.) in both Assessment and the Practice of internal Quality Assurance (IQA). Gwyn is a Level 7 Diploma qualified professional executive coach and leadership mentor having completed circa.1200 contact hours across the private, public, voluntary, education, neuro-diverse community, health and social care sectors providing bespoke team and individual coaching solutions in support of senior and executive leaders' development. Gwyn is also a practicing Coach Supervisor. Her role is pivotal in ensuring that our Apprentices achieve their goal of both completing their Apprenticeship and gaining their Diploma in Management and Leadership from the Chartered Management Institute.

Hayley Brackley

Hayley joined ioda in 2023 as an Associate Trainer, focused on the delivery of Equality, Diversity and Inclusion training but her background in training spans all elements of leadership, management and coaching. Her experience as an L&D professional in both the public and private sector means that she brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to the classroom. Hayley is a passionate advocate for promoting and supporting neurodiversity within the workplace as well as being a highly effective coach and training facilitator in people development and change management. She is a Fellow Member of the Learning and Performance Institute and both an MBTI and Neurolinguistic Programming Practitioner.

Helen Nothard

A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD, Helen has 20 years' experience working in both the Public and Private Sectors. As Operations Manager Helen is responsible for ensuring all administration and logistical issues are organised and undertaken efficiently and effectively to enable the complex machinery of ioda, to function. While managing a dedicated administration team, Helen also works closely with our Managing Director and our Head of Training and Operations in relation to planning, compliance and client service management. As Centre Co-ordinator, Helen is also responsible for all dealings with our accreditation partners including the CMI, City & Guilds and the ILM ensuring we meet the highest standards expected.

Iain Dale

Iain has a proven track record of twenty years as a successful trainer, coach, assessor, manager and people development consultant. This experience has been gained from working with a diverse range of organisations, both nationally and internationally, with a particular focus on the service provision sector. Furthermore, he has gained fifteen years' experience as a teacher and department head in an urban comprehensive school. This extensive knowledge, acquired from a number of roles and environments, enables him to coach and assess staff with a pragmatic approach to their development. This is coupled with a drive to produce measurable improvements to staff at all levels within an organisation.

Jane Devine

Jane's roles at ioda are many and varied, providing support across the whole business. She relishes the opportunity to problem solve the challenges that ioda encounter, seeing projects through to conclusion and generally just getting things done. Since joining ioda, she has developed her previous knowledge of project and change management to support ioda's continuous improvement and project portfolio. Having the ability to understand business needs and with a vast experience of working with stakeholders and clients from all backgrounds and sections of the community, she is skilled at making plans and moving our business forward. Jane has been key in the development of the support function for our Functional Skills programme. Working with our exceptional trainers and coaches in partnership with our awarding body, the City and Guilds, Jane has built a process for our Apprentices that has enabled them to study for their Level 2 certificates in English and Maths, with excellent outcomes.

Jason Chatwin

Even with a successful track record in learning and development, Jason is still a fan of ‘rolling his sleeves up' and getting on with challenges associated with business operations and development. His achievements build on an exceptional commercial understanding coupled with empathy and insight into human psychology. The focus for him has always been helping others un-pick the hurdles they have in order to engage with their own challenges and in a workplace environment all of which make him an ideal Workplace Coach, supporting our Apprentices as they journey through their programmes.

Jo Tyler

Prior to joining ioda as a Workplace Coach, Jo had held a number of roles in HMRC rising through the ranks from Officer through to an Assistant Director. At this point, she was responsible for the overall management of Criminal Tax Investigations at HMRC and the development of over 100 members of staff. Her ability to share and disseminate this practical knowledge and skills to our Apprentices is key to why she is such an effective and successful member of the ioda coaching team.

Joanna White brings a strong background in learning and development, with over ten years' experience across an array of industries and sectors. Her strength is promoting a company culture that encourages top performance and high morale, which is essential as she supports our Apprentices in her role as a Workplace Coach.

Jodie Warren

Jodie is passionate about empowering people to thrive, both personally & professionally, by using coaching techniques and by drawing on her extensive experience in specialist education. As an ACC accredited coach, she adopts a strengths-based approach & integrates this with her understanding of neurodiversity, pedagogy, positive psychology and neuroscience to support and empower her coachees. Her experience supporting pupils with complex SEND, their parents & staff, also enables her to empathise and communicate flexibly and effectively with a wide range of clients. She now draws on these skills and experiences to empower adults to identify ways forwards and achieve transformative results as one of our ioda Workplace Coaches.

Lisa Reynolds

As Head of Training and Operations Lisa is responsible for the daily delivery of training and other services working closely with clients to produce the perfect training solutions. She is also responsible for the operation management and delivery of our Apprenticeship and other Accredited Management Programmes ensuring the highest quality and compliance. Lisa is our Equality, Diversity and Inclusion lead where her expert knowledge and considerable experience is in much demand. Her reputation for frankness, clarity and making the complex simple to understand has made her a well-known figure in the area and highly respected as a leader in inclusive leadership. Lisa also has a strong track record in mediation and working with organisations to repair dysfunctional teams and to rebuild the confidence of managers and staff, particularly in the area of fairness and inclusion. Working closely with our Operations Manager, Lisa ensures a joined-up approach to all our training and services including managing our separate cadres of training and apprenticeship coaches.

Mark is a trainer, facilitator and speaker with a 25+ year background of designing and delivering training courses, workshops and away days. He is a qualified facilitator with a proven track record of increasing profits and improving team effectiveness, efficiency and engagement. As a leadership and management trainer, Mark ensures that his training is delivered in such a way to make a real and practical difference in the workplace. He is often complimented for the clarity of his communication and his down-to-earth nature, putting participants at ease and giving them maximum opportunity to learn. Mark also facilitates workshops with teams in order to enable them to develop stronger team working and embrace change. Mark spent much of this time building capability and working with teams to ensure consistent best practice. When not delivering training, Mark can be often be found in his veg plot wondering just how many slugs one garden can produce.

A former senior manager, with over 30 years' experience, Mark is a valuable member of the ioda training team and specialises in the design and delivery of Leadership and Management including Strategic, Tactical and Operational grades. Mark also delivers specific Leadership skills including Auditable Decision Making and Leading in a Collaborative environment, helping prepare managers for their 21 st Century leadership role. As a former head of Learning and Development, Mark has been involved in and provided oversight for a range of service areas and strategic training interventions. A qualified trainer, Mark is well qualified and experienced to support and develop others as part of their leadership journey. He has considerable experience across the public, private and charitable sectors, having delivered leadership and management training to organisations as varied as the UK College of Policing to B&Q and as far afield as Tanzania and Abu Dhabi, as part of UK sponsored aid projects.

As a Workplace Coach, working with our Apprentices throughout their programmes, Nicky brings a strong background in both Organisational Development and Learning and Development to support them during their qualification. Having worked across private, service, public and not-for-profit sectors for over 27 years, her knowledge, energy and drive is proving invaluable to them as they return to education. Prior to joining ioda, Nicky worked as an Organisational Development Manager for an emergency service, developing a single management development course into a full range of activities using internal and external providers. The programme included face-to-face and online courses, 360 feedback, action learning sets, talent development, coaching, psychometrics and support for promotion processes with under-represented groups. All these skills are the reason that Nicky is a successful member of our Workplace Coaching community.
