Charlotte joined the team in 2022. She graduated from the Royal Veterinary College and came back home to Norfolk, working in and around Norfolk before settling with the team at Miramar.
She has a post graduate certificate in small animal Dentistry. When not in the practice she is kept busy by a home full of rescue pets.

Chloe joined the practice in August 2021 to start training as a veterinary nurse in 2022. She is studying through the level 3 diploma route, which means she works full time and travels to college once a week for study. Chloe has a keen interest in exotics and would like to run her own rabbit and guinea pig clinics once qualified. She also has her own rabbits and guinea pigs to look after at home. When Chloe isn't working or studying she can be found horse riding.

Clare joined us in January 2022 with 25 years of experience as a veterinary nurse. Clare has travelled and worked in practices across the country before settling in Norfolk in 2020. Clare has a special interest in exotics and feline medicine. Clare aides our new nurses with her knowledge and assists with any exotic query. Clare has two children and spends her spare time Clare bakes cakes for her to enjoy after a long walk along the North Norfolk coast.

Along with working on the reception desk, Jade also works on client's insurance and other admin duties in the practice.
She lives in Aylsham with her partner Luke and 2 young children Joshua and Josie who keep her very busy!
Jane is a very familiar face to Miramar. She was a partner in the business before semi-retiring in 2019 to spend more time at home with her family. Jane has over 30 years' experience as a vet, working with both large and small animals. Jane spends her spare time looking after her pets including a Jack Russell, two cats, chickens, two ponies and her horse, Douglas. She is a keen runner and often attends beach runners in Cromer with RVN Lucy.
Julija joined Miramar in 2019 to train as a veterinary nurse and has since qualified. She found love for animals since childhood, when looking after stray and abandoned animals with her family. Julija is very interested in shelter and feline medicine. In her spare time, she enjoys latch hooking, diamond painting, reading and going for long walks with her family.

Katie joined the Miramar team in August 2022 and has many years' experience of working within a veterinary practice. Before this she was a Canine Hydrotherapist for 8 years and is also a Registered Animal Medicines Advisor. She really enjoys meeting clients and their pets on reception. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, spending time with her friends and going on long walks with her dogs.

Lauren joined the practice in 2008, She graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2011 and has a keen interest in emergency nursing and puppy development. She is also our Deputy Head Nurse, helping Lucy to organise the nursing team. This includes training our student nurses as one of our clinical coaches. When Lauren isn't working she's looking after her son, Henry; the 3 dogs, Saffie, Breeze and Luna and an elderly cat Whispa. Lauren regularly competes at agility events over the weekend and makes dog toys, collars and leads to sell at shows.

Lesley first came to the practice in 1993 while on work experience and then in 1997 she became a full-time member of staff, progressing to practice manager in 2003. She has a keen interest in IT, she is responsible for the daily running of the practice. If there is a technical problem she is our go to girl! Lesley also looks after everyone in the practice, this includes sorting staff nights out.
When Lesley isn't at work she loves doing cross stitch, gardening and spending time with her family, she also has a rescue cat Lilah and 5 guinea pigs that keep her busy.

Lucy has been at the practice since 1996, working first as a receptionist before qualifying as a nurse in 2004. She progressed to Head Nurse in 2017. Lucy has a keen interest in our clinics and is our go to nurse for weight management and arthritis patients. Lucy is also a clinical coach and trains our student nurses, teaching them all her valuable knowledge! Lucy also looks after everyone and is a ‘work mum' to most, this includes setting up a mental wellbeing board and regular tea breaks.
She lives in Sheringham with her twins and two cats. On the rare occasion she is not at the practice or with the twins, she enjoys baking, running and pottering in the garden.

Mary has a long history of working in reception roles and working with animals. Mary brings much laughter to the team and enjoys making everyone smile. She moved to Overstrand two years ago from the East Midlands where she grew up. She has 3 children of which she is very proud. Mary owns a cat and two horses which she shares with her youngest. Most of her spare time is spent with the horses, running along the coastal path or in her garden.
Michaela has been at Miramar since 1999, originally as a partner alongside Jane. Michaela took a back seat in 2020 to concentrate on her hobbies but still works at Miramar from time to time.
In her spare time, she enjoys photography and walks along the beautiful North Norfolk Coast. She is also a keen gardener and likes to grow a variety of produce.

Rachel joined the team in 2022 to assist the nursing team and reception team. Rachel has worked previously in customer care, animal management and as a zoo keeper. Rachel has three girls at home of whom she is very proud. The rest of the family includes Digby the cocker spaniel, Nelly the Jack Russell, Zeus and Jazz the cats. When Rachel isn't taking care of here family she spends time doing arts and crafts and walking.
Ruth joined the team in 2022. Ruth graduated from the Royal (Dick) School of Veterinary Studies in 2007 and since her graduation has spent her career in farm animal practice in Yorkshire and Norfolk. She has decided to make the move to companion animal practice for a more gentile life requiring more brain power less muscle power!! She is keen to grow her skillset and hopes to pursue an interest in internal medicine.

I moved to Norfolk from Leicester about 28 years ago with my daughter and never looked back. I have mainly worked in the NHS, but fancied a change in direction. I live in High Kelling with my husband, 5 chickens and a 1 year old black Labrador called Willow, who keeps me on my toes!!

Ruth joined our busy reception team in August 2018, having previously worked for 18 years at an equine veterinary practice in Newmarket. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, walking, swimming and foreign languages. She has had a full motorbike licence since 2004, and her last motorbike was a 12oocc Harley-Davidson.

Sue is a Royal Veterinary College graduate and has spent most of her working life in academia. She retired from the Royal Veterinary College in 2021, after 28.5 years. Following the first career break since graduating, Sue decided she wasn't quite ready to give up her stethoscope for good and joined Miramar as a part time vet in January 2022.
Her ‘vet pets' are a cat called Daisy and ‘Piggy' a Norfolk Terrier x Westie who was very fat until she came to live with Sue. When not working she enjoys being outside, especially walking, watersports and cycling. She is also a BDMLR marine mammal medic who helps with local seal assessments and rescues and also volunteers for the National Trust.
Vanessa joined Team Miramar in January 2023. She came to the UK from South Africa five years ago with her family and settled in the lovely North Norfolk area. She has many years experience in small animal practice, with a special interest in animal physiotherapy and the use of exercise and lifestyle to keep our pets living their best lives. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring in the outdoors, flying her RC aircraft and, in the spring and summer, wandering along the Wensum with a flyrod in her hand.
