Alison has worked for the company for over 25 years and has a wide range of area knowledge having lived locally all of her life. She has been a core part of our agricultural team for many years and plays a key role in the department supporting the management surveyors. Close coordination across departments helps Alison deliver high levels of customer service irrespective of the issue or client requirement.
Alison lives locally and on a weekend enjoys the outdoors with her family, helping on their clay and game shoots as well as going stock car racing.
Amelia has lived in the Harrogate area for over 15 years, and has an abundance of local knowledge of the beautiful town and villages in the Harrogate district. In her role as sales negotiator, Amelia always goes the extra mile and aims to maintain professional relationships with clients.
In her spare time, she enjoys walking her dog, going to the gym and going out for dinner.

Ben is a senior mortgage and protection adviser and works under Mortgage Advice Bureau, meaning he can work with a pool of more than 90 UK lenders and has access to exclusive deals available on 12,000+ different mortgage products.
Ben started in financial services seven years ago via Mortgage Advice Bureau, and opened his own brokerage four years ago. Outside of work, he enjoys a round of golf, spending time with his daughter, and looking after his two English bulldogs.
Cath joined Dacres in 1992 and has over 29 years experience selling properties. Being from the local area herself, Cath has a wealth of knowledge of Bingley.
She is an experienced sales negotiator which involves negotiating offers, agreeing sales and seeing the sales progression through from start to finish.
Claire is part of the team in the Bramhope office and has previously worked in the Burley office so has a wealth of knowledge to offer help and advice to the local community. Having worked in estate agency for quite a few years and moved house numerous times, she is very experienced in the progression of sales and is on hand to guide customers through the process.
In her spare time Claire enjoys walking in the countryside, eating out and spending time with her family.

Daniel joined Dacres Bingley as Office Manager in 2017. He has a wealth of estate agency experience having previously managed a branch for a national corporate agency within Ilkley and the Wharfe Valley. Daniel has a fantastic knowledge of the local Aire Valley market place and is best placed to offer the right advice to both our vendors and buyers.
Growing up in Harrogate Daniel has lived now for many years more locally in Baildon. He is a keen sports fan and golfer. Daniel also graduated from the University of Central Lancashire with a degree in marketing, a qualification he proudly associates with his position to help drive the marketing of all our Bingley properties for sale.
David Ogilvie - Chief Commercial Officer
David joined Dacre, Son & Hartley in 1982 as a trainee, before going on to study at the University of Northumbria where he gained a BSc (hons) degree in estate management.
David moved to head up the new Leeds Commercial office in 1998 and has extensive experience across the commercial and healthcare property markets. David has developed the firm's national expertise in the medical centre market, is also head of the commercial division and a member of the management board of Dacre, Son & Hartley.

Edward carries out valuations, rent reviews and lease renewals, as well as advising on investment transactions, spanning all types of healthcare property including GP surgeries, medical centres and pharmacies. He covers an extensive area spanning Yorkshire and into the North West, Midlands and down the M1 corridor.
Edward has more than 15 years' experience working in the healthcare property sector.

Elinor Peryer joined the Ilkley Office as a part time Residential Sales Administrator following a career break after having her second son.
With a background in customer service and quality assurance, she brings with her a passion for communication and attention to detail. Outside of work she enjoys yoga, countryside walks and pub lunches.
Fiona joined Dacres Commercial in 2007 and is has recently been promoted to Director. Based in the Leeds office she specialises in the primary healthcare and pharmacy sector advising on rent reviews, lease renewals and a wide range of property valuation issues.
Fiona has worked within the commercial property market since 1989, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1991, working for two national firms of property consultants based in Leeds prior to joining Dacres Commercial. Fiona has extensive experience in the commercial property sector, primarily in portfolio valuations for major financial institutions/property companies, investment agency, secured lending valuations and professional rent review/lease renewal work across all sectors of the commercial property market.

Gillian Crook started at Dacres as a Customer Service Centre Representative in late 2021 and is based in the Skipton branch. Having more than 20 years administration and customer service experience, Gillian enjoys meeting new people and takes a keen interest in properties and interior design.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband and four children, as well as entertaining family and friends, going running and to the theatre and taking family day trips out.

Our Chartered Surveyor, Ian joined Dacre, Son & Hartley in 1997 and is a Senior Associate. Ian has been surveying in the West and North Yorkshire region for over 42 years and acts as our Residential Chartered Surveyor undertaking RICS Level 2 homebuyers surveys, and a wide variety of RICS compliant formal valuations.
Ian has an incredibly wide range of experience and operates throughout the following areas, Ilkley and Wharefdale, Harrogate, Ripon, North Leeds and Wetherby, Skipton and the Aire Valley, Settle and the Yorkshire Dales.
Ian's passion is to provide quality customer service and his inclusive and friendly style ensures his clients understand the comprehensive property surveys and advice which he gives.

Ian qualified in Rural Estate Management at the Royal Agricultural College in 1981 and joined Dacre, Son & Hartley in the same year, qualifying as a Chartered Surveyor in 1984.
Ian is a Director of the company and heads the rural side of the business, specialising in property management with a particular leaning towards sporting estates. He is based at the Harrogate office and works throughout Yorkshire and the North of England.
Izzy has lived in Yorkshire all her life. She grew up in Ilkley, and then moved to Yeadon, but more recently moved to Rawdon, so has a great local knowledge. She has worked in estate agency in the area over the past couple of years and has lots of local knowledge.
Izzy has two little boys and she loves spending time with them out and about exploring and walking the dog.
Jayne has worked in various sectors across the globe, including New York, but has now settled in Harrogate and is enjoying exploring the area. Customer service has been a key point in her success as she loves helping people, and whether the issue is small or large Jayne prides herself on always being there and solving problems that arise.
In her spare time, Jayne loves to act, sing and dance, as well as go hiking with her husband and dog.

Jenni Howell has worked for Dacres for over 16 years, she moved from our North Leeds office to Bramhope in 2014.
A member of the National Association of Estate Agents, Jenni concentrates on the sale progression of residential property, providing a personal service to sellers and buyers alike. She has extensive local knowledge and experience on all areas of estate agency work including, conducting viewings as well as negotiating offers and progressing sales through to completion.
Jonathan joined our busy Dacres office in January 2020 to head up a team. He grew up locally before building and running his own successful estate agency business, specialising in both sales and lettings, in Manchester city centre.

Kelly Driver is the Sales Manager at the Baildon office and strives to give the best customer service throughout the buying or selling process.
She has returned back to her childhood roots of Baildon. She knows the village very well and has great local knowledge of the local area.

Kelly has been a mortgage adviser for more than 15 years, with most of that time spent in the estate agent sector. Outside of work, she's also a fitness instructor and teaches indoor cycling and weight-based classes.
In her spare time, Kelly enjoys riding her motorbike and walking with her two dogs. We work with Mortgage Advice Bureau to give our clients access to expert mortgage and protection advice. Laura has worked in Estate Agency since 2014, previously working as a Sales Manager. After having her son, she joined Dacres in 2020 as a part-time Residential Sales Property Administrator before becoming a Sales Negotiator in the Ilkley branch in 2023.
Outside of work she is a real foodie, loves to travel and enjoys spending time with her husband and son.
Laura joined Dacre Son & Hartley in October 2015 as a Customer Service Advisor before qualifying as a mortgage advisor and working in financial services for a short time. She returned to Dacres as Customer Service Centre Manager to manage the department and has since been promoted to Head of Customer Service.
In her spare Laura enjoys spending time with her family and is focussing on completing her 1900s farmhouse reonvation.
Lesley joined Dacres in April 2018 and brings with her a wealth of knowledge and experience having worked in the industry for over 30 years.
Valuing and selling properties at all levels across North and West Yorkshire, Lesley's passion is to always strive to achieve the best possible result for both vendor and purchaser alike.
Lisa joined the team as a Sales Negotiator at the Bingley branch but previously worked at Dacre Son & Hartley for 6 years working in various residential lettings and sales roles, which has given her a depth and breadth of knowledge and a range of unique skills in understanding the needs of all stakeholders involved in the buying process.
Outside of work Lisa's hobbies include walking, cooking, spending time with her family and four grandchildren.
Louis studied Law at University and worked in conveyancing following his Law degree, which has benefited his career in property given that Sales Progression is a big part of his job. He has lived in Leeds for 7 years, being at University for 3 of them and working in Law and property for the other 4 years.
In his spare time he enjoys playing/watching football, going to the gym and socialising with friends/family.
Lucy is a Mortgage Adviser and works under the Mortgage Advice bureau, this means she can advise from over 90 UK lenders with exclusive deals available on over 12000 different mortgage products to her customers. Lucy likes meeting new people and working between the different Dacres' branches, having grown up in York she is excited to be part of the opening team for the new York branch. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys crossfit, countryside walks and spending time with her family and friends.
Patrick started his career with Dacre, Son & Hartley in 1985 and from the start took a keen interest in the diverse range of services that the firm has to offer.
Now head of the company's residential operation, Patrick is based at the head office in Ilkley and provides sales and marketing advice across the whole price spectrum with specialist knowledge within the upper sectors. Married to Charlotte and with two children, Patrick is a Fellow of the National Association of Estate Agents.
