Andrea Cappiello

Job Titles:

Andrea Joined LTS Architects in 2022 as a RIBA Part II Architectural Assistant. Prior to this, he worked on a number of projects in the UK and Europe, as well as across the African Continent (Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Rwanda), gaining experience in the Hospitality, Mixed use, Healthcare and Education sectors. Andrea completed his Bachelor degree at the University of Westminster, and his Master degree at the University of TU Delft in 2020, where he graduated cum laude with an annotation in Entrepreneurship. His thesis explored the notion of cultural economy, mobility and circularity for the city of Milan. Andrea has a particular interest in cross-disciplinary strategic thinking, aimed to explore innovative and sustainable design solutions across different scales.

Anthony Lingi

Caine MacNeil

Job Titles:
  • Projects Director
Caine joined LTS in 2000, qualifying as an Architect in 2002, and has since developed his career with the practice, becoming a Project Architect, Associate and Associate Director in 2014. He has experience in a wide variety of sectors and has led teams on a number of projects from inception to completion. These include the Sure Start Children's Centre in Poplar, The Cicely Saunders Institute for Palliative Care in Denmark Hill, the Honor Oak Park Sports Pavilion, 12 Palace Street and latterly the Shree Swaminarayan Temple and Multi-Function Hall in Kingsbury, London. Caine takes a keen interest in design both at a macro and micro scale, by examining the effect that good design can have on detailed design and vice versa and also the effect that choice of material and procurement have on design. As part of the senior team Caine brings his knowledge and interest of construction to the role of practice CDM manager.

Greg Shannon

Job Titles:

Greg co-founded LTS Architects in 1996 and leads the studio's design direction whilst managing projects across the public, cultural, healthcare, education and residential sectors. Greg maintains involvement in all projects from conception to completion, and believes in a truly hands-on approach to work within the LTS studio. Greg studied at Cardiff, Oxford Brookes University and the South Bank University, becoming a Chartered Architect in 1996. Whilst studying, Greg won the national Otis Student Competition and was nominated for the RIBA silver medal. He gained professional experience working in Glasgow, Berlin and London. Alongside managing the practice and running projects Greg also teaches interior design at Manchester Metropolitan University and is an external examiner for Liverpool University. He has been a guest critic, and unit leader for a number of design and architectural schools in both the UK and the USA, including Rhode Island School of Design, Cardiff Metropolitan University, Manchester Metropolitan University, Westminster University, Bartlett School of Architecture (University College London) and the Royal College of Art.

Rebecca Clarke

Rebecca completed her undergraduate degree in Ancient History at Exeter University, where she developed an interest in the relationship between culture, society and architecture. She has worked in architectural practices since 2010 helping to support the team. Outside of work Rebecca spends her time doing ceramics and cooking.

Sophie Bowerman

Job Titles:
  • Senior Architect
Sophie joined LTS in early 2023 as a Senior Architect. She has over 7 years of extensive experience working across the residential, hospitality and commercial sectors on projects of a wide-ranging scale. Sophie studied at the Welsh School of Architecture and with RIBA, qualifying as an Architect in 2019. She has been involved with many London-based projects, which included landmark mixed-use towers, masterplan redevelopments and hotel schemes within listed buildings. She is highly experienced in the design and delivery of projects on heavily constrained sites across London and throughout the UK, balancing the intricacies of programme, cost and design, alongside evolving briefs. Sophie has a passion for innovative reuse and the role Architecture can have on public interaction and she has led several projects transforming some of London's disused heritage sites into new cultural offerings, working closely with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure a positive contribution back to the City. Outside of the office Sophie is found exploring the countryside and coast paths, following her passion for trail running and ultra-marathons. Closer to home she regularly volunteers with some of London's small city farms, keen to keep in touch with nature and engage with local community groups.

Thomas Kerby MArch

  • Part II Architectural Assistant
Thomas completed his Master of Architecture at the Unitec Institute of Technology in Auckland, New Zealand. His final year thesis project developed an approach to the adaptive re-use of heritage buildings within Auckland's rapidly developing suburbs. This involved the thoughtful redevelopment and careful preservation of characterful structures, so they could be retained for the future whilst being better suited for modern day requirements. In his previous role (following his studies), Thomas worked on range of projects, varying in scale and largely within the education and commercial sector. Outside of work, Thomas is passionate about photography, cooking, and making weekend trips away to explore new areas and walking trails.
