Grahame Dowse

Grahame Dowse FRICS is a Chartered Building Surveyor with wide experience based on a long career working in the building surveying and construction industry. Grahame became a Fellow (FRICS) of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (Building Surveying and Residential Property faculties) in 1995 and join ed Collier Stevens in 2008. His roles include inspecting, surveying and preparing building survey reports on residential and commercial properties. He has detailed experience as a party wall surveyor, and prepares defect reports and specifications of work.

Steven has built a wealth of experience and expertise across both residential and commercial building surveying, investigation, disabled access auditing and advice during this time. He has a sound reputation as a reliable and diligent expert witness in complaints related to service charge disagreements, domestic building contract disputes, surveyors negligence, housing disrepairs and building defects. A well-known and robust party wall surveyor in London and Kent. He is often selected as "third surveyor". He is Chairman of the Kent Branch of the Pyramus & Thisbe Society - the learned society for party wall professionals. Steven has particular experience in auditing and adapting the built environment to improve access for those with disabilities, particularly education buildings, police and custody premises and other public buildings. He is also a guest specialist contributor to the Sunday Times Property Section as well as chair of the Faculty of Party Wall surveyors in Kent. Steven is a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and a member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineers & Estate Managers. He's also a member of the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors and the Pyramus & Thisbe Society (the Party Wall Surveyors Association). Steven is a member of the Institute of Healthcare Engineering and Estate Management (IHEEM), the Faculty of Party Wall Surveyors (FPWS) and the Pyramus & Thisbe Society (P & T), which is the learned society for party wall surveyors. Steven acts as chair of the Kent Branch of the Pyramus and Thisbe Society, and chair of the Faculty of Party Wall surveyors in Kent.

Wayne Rockall

Wayne Rockall is the newest addition to the Collier Stevens team. As assistant building surveyor, Wayne is supports clients with party wall queries, writes party wall notices, and carries out schedules of condition and defect reports. Wayne's previous experience working as a builder and then as a property manager for a Folkestone estate agent combine to give him a sound understanding of clients' needs when it comes to renovation or letting property. In particular, during his time as a property manager, Wayne gained significant knowledge of leasehold and residential buildings, and the technical detail for party wall surveys. It was here he also began writing schedules of condition and defect reports. Wayne is applying to become an associate of the RICS and developing his skills under the mentorship of Steve Way, Practice Principal. Once he is an associate, he will continue his development through all aspects of building, including all party wall matters, serving correct notices, drafting awards, site visits, taking schedules of conditions, and liaising with clients and contractors. This will lead to him achieving the status of qualified RICS Chartered Surveyor by 2025. Once he is Chartered, Wayne is keen to specialise. He is particularly interested in the legal side of property management and litigation, especially around defects and schedules of condition. He's also fond of historic properties, especially if there's a rumour of things that go bump in the night! Wayne is a member of the Institute of Residential Property Managers and Chairman for the local Association of Surveyors, Valuers, Estate Agents, Auctioneers, and Professionals.
