Graeme brings more than 35 years of seagoing and shore experience to the new post having previously worked in the U.S., Oman, India and Europe as well as the U.K. Most recently he was General Manager Marine Operations for the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company, responsible for passenger and cargo ferries and for the Penzance Dry Dock Company. Prior to that, roles ranged from engineer on specialized Dynamic Positioning (DP) vessels to Technical Superintendent and Project Manager of vessel conversions and new builds. Shoreside experience included managing marine assets for a range of diving, geotechnical drilling and well operations projects.

Nicki is our Graduate Marine Electrical Engineer, having joined us in April 2022.
He has an HND in Marine Electro Technology from the City of Glasgow College, which was sponsored by Solstad Offshore ASA during his cadetship.
When he is not immersed in Electrical diagrams and FMEAs, he loves playing football & snowboarding. He also has a keen interest in Computers and supports Greenock Morton FC!

Richard joined the team in 2019, to support the growth of Pirie & Smith and other Group companies. He is responsible for the drive to digitise our processes and supporting the Operational teams.
Richard is an Electronics Technician, working in the ROV industry for many years, before making the leap to further his career in onshore Technical and Operations Management including work on ROV, Marine and Subsea Mining projects.
