Driveline Systems Ltd. was formed in 1995 with the aim of providing a specialist service to the power transmission industry. Initially the business was involved in the specification and sales of Auburn Gear Planetary Gearboxes used in the industrial, mobile and agricultural sectors. As a natural progression the Muncie Power distributorship was taken on supplying gearbox mounted power take offs (PTOs) mainly for the Allison fully automatic gearbox used in the commercial vehicle industry. These customers are supported by approximately £0.5 million of stock held in our warehouse in Sandy. Further growth was found in the other municipal vehicle market sectors including: - gulley emptiers, skip loaders, hook loaders, truck mounted cranes and tippers. Other products were later added to the programme enabling the company to offer PTO and pump solutions to the car recovery industry specialising in the Isuzu NQR transmission.
