Adam Saks - CFO

As CFO, Adam is responsible for Aksia's financial management and reporting. Adam manages the budgeting and planning, forecasting, financial modeling and reporting. Prior to joining Aksia in 2022, Adam was the Executive Director of Corporate Finance and Head of Financial Planning and Analysis at Perella Weinberg Partners, where he oversaw strategic planning and operating initiatives and worked closely with senior management to support enterprise-wide decision making. Before that, Adam was the Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis at Fortress Investment Group. He started his career as a Business Analyst at OpenSky Inc., which was later acquired by Alibaba. Throughout his career, Adam has been tasked with spearheading special projects, advising senior leadership regarding financial and strategic decisions, and assisting his employers with undertaking both a SPAC merger and a public-to-private transaction. Adam graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Madison with a BBA in Finance, Investment and Banking.

Afolabi Oliver

Afolabi is a Director on the Operational Due Diligence team and has over 15 years of industry experience. His responsibilities include performing operational due diligence on European alternative investments, as well as performing ad-hoc operational due diligence requests. Afolabi is responsible for overseeing Aksia's Responsible Investing research framework and supporting the integration of Responsible Investing considerations, as relevant, across Aksia's core processes. Prior to joining Aksia in 2014, Afolabi was a Business Services Senior at Lubbock Fine Chartered Accountants in London, where he provided outsourced accounting services and liaised with auditors for an alternative investment manager, among other clients. During his four years at Lubbock Fine, Afolabi also worked within the audit and non-assurance departments. Afolabi began his accounting career at Ladimeji & Co, an international tax practice in London. Prior to Ladimeji & Co., he was a Senior Editor at LexisNexis UK in London for three years. Afolabi graduated from Trinity Hall College, Cambridge University with a BA in Land Economy and is a Chartered Accountant (ACA) in the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW).

Alex Dauria

As a Senior Portfolio Advisor, Alex is a member of the Portfolio Advisory team in the Americas responsible for their alternative investment programs. Alex also focuses on business development efforts and marketing initiatives within North America. Prior to joining Aksia in 2021, Alex was a Director in the Capital Formation group at Castlelake, and previously was a Vice President on the Investor Relations team at Bain Capital Credit. Prior to that, he was a Consultant Relations Analyst at Loomis, Sayles & Company. Alex started his career in 2010 at Cambridge Associates. Alex graduated from the Wake Forest University with a BA in Economics.

Alex Goldman - SVP

Alex is a Senior Vice President on the Investment Research team with a focus on private credit investments. He is involved in all phases of the investment research process, including sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring. Prior to joining Aksia in 2022, Alex was a Director of Private Investments at SCS Financial where he assisted with leading the firm's private credit investment program, with a focus on sourcing, diligence, and monitoring primary fund commitments. Alex also supported all phases of the investment process for the firm's private equity program across primary funds, secondaries, and co-investments. Prior to his departure, Alex served on the advisory board of multiple private credit managers. Alex graduated summa cum laude from Babson College with a BS in Business Management. He is a CFA charterholder.

Alex Panagiotidis

Alex has over 18 years of financial markets and operations experience and is the Europe Operations Manager, where he oversees the overall management of Aksia business operations in the region. He is responsible for the preparation of operational budgets, supervision of staff, and oversight of technology infrastructure. Since the formation of Aksia, Alex has been integral to the development of Aksia's quantitative framework and risk analysis tools, and Aksia's proprietary online portal, MAX. Prior to joining Aksia, he was an Analyst in the Alternative Capital Division at Credit Suisse. Alex graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics.

Andrew Huang

Andrew is the Head of Valuations and is responsible for valuations of private market assets. Andrew also works with Aksia clients to better understand valuation implications in their portfolios and oversees risk monitoring implications with respect to macro valuation changes. Prior to joining Aksia in 2023, Andrew was a Vice President at Oak Hill Advisors, LP, where he had primary responsibility over private credit valuations across the portfolio. Before that he spent over 5 years at Deloitte & Touche, LLP in New York and prior to that he spent over 4 years at Deloitte and Touche Consulting in South Africa. Andrew graduated from the University of Johannesburg with a BCom in Accounting. He is a Chartered Accountant (CA) of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) and is also a CPA in the State of Virginia.

Ben Bronson - Managing Director

Ben is a Managing Director on the Portfolio Advisory team and has over 19 years of experience in alternative investments. He is responsible for alternative investment programs in the Americas and focuses on portfolio construction and manager selection, providing customized investment recommendations and regular portfolio updates across alternative investment programs. Prior to joining Aksia in 2022, Ben was a Director of Liquid Strategies at Fire and Police Pension Association of Colorado ("FPPA"), where he led the organization's investments across public equity, fixed income, and hedge fund asset classes. In addition to investing, Ben worked closely with FPPA's governance structures on a number of strategic topics including plan design, asset allocation, capital market assumption setting, asset/liability studies, macroeconomic research, as well as a range of asset class-related educational subjects. Before joining FPPA, Ben was a Senior Research Analyst at Charles Schwab Investment Advisory and prior to that he was an Investment Officer at Highlander Wealth Services LLC. Ben started his career as an Analyst at Tactical Allocation Services LLC. Ben graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a BA in Psychology. Brian Goldberg

Before that, she was a Director of Client Service at FLAG Capital where she covered existing client relationships and new business development as well as private equity fund investments in Southeast Asia. Prior to that, she was a Director of Business Development and Investor Relations at Squadron Capital. She held previous investment roles in private equity at Siguler Guff & Company and WestLB Mellon Asset Management. Chau started her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers in financial advisory services. Clifton Ramsundar - Managing Director

Prior to joining Aksia in 2007, Clifton worked as the Chief Technical Officer for Jamali Garden Supplies where he led the development of the website, steered online advertising initiatives and integrated inventory and third-party shipping agents into their workflow. In addition to working with GPs, Ellen works with product service providers including custodians, administrators, credit facility providers, FX counterparties, auditors and tax service providers along with funds' legal teams to provide a comprehensive middle-office solution. Prior to joining Aksia in 2018, Ellen was a Senior Manager at SANNE, a fund administration company, where she was responsible for the accounting, reporting and oversight of multiple private equity funds with an asset value of $3.5 billion. Prior to SANNE, Ellen was an Associate at MSD Capital where she worked in the fund accounting group responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of real estate, private equity, fund of funds, and public trading portfolios. Prior to MSD, Ellen worked at Lehman Brothers, where she was responsible for the accounting and financial reporting of a global private equity fund and all related entities with $2 billion under management. Ellen started her career with Ernst & Young in 2004 as an auditor. Ellen graduated from Nankai University with a BA in International Trade and with an MA in Economics. Prior to Aksia's acquisition of TorreyCove Capital Partners, Heidi was a Senior Vice President, joining the firm in 2013. Prior to that, Heidi was an Investment Officer of San Jose Retirement Services' Investment Group. She was primarily responsible for the Hedge Fund, Fixed Income, and Private Equity investment activities at the city's two pension plans. Previously, Heidi was an Equity Research Analyst, covering the semiconductor industry for investment banks including Thomas Weisel Partners, Piper Jaffray and Robertson Stephens. She serves on the National Advisory Council for the Association of Asian American Investment Managers (AAAIM). Heidi graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Industrial Engineering and holds an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Prior to Aksia's acquisition of TorreyCove Capital Partners, Jeffrey was a Senior Vice President, joining the firm in 2011. Prior to starting his career in private equity, Jeffrey worked in the public markets as an analyst on both the buy-side and the sell-side. Jim Vos - CEO

Jim is the CEO of Aksia and has over 38 years of alternative investments, research and derivatives experience. He is responsible for the overall management of Aksia as well as the design of the firm's research and advisory processes. Prior to joining Aksia, Jim spent 20 years at Credit Suisse and was part of the Alternative Capital Division. During his time there, Jim was a member of the Portfolio Strategies group, oversaw a research desk in Tokyo, managed the firm's FLP trading desk in London and was part of the CSFP derivatives trading boutique. Jim graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics. In 2009 and 2010, he was recognized as Hedge Fund Consultant of the Year by Institutional Investor. In 2016, he was recognized as Consultant of the Year by Chief Investment Officer.

Joseph Larucci

Joseph is Head of Equity Strategies and has over 30 years of experience in equity trading and alternative investments. Josh is a Managing Director and Head of Credit Co-Investments, leading Aksia's co-investment sourcing and diligence activities. Josh is also responsible for co-leading the management of a strategic discretionary account focused on small and emerging private credit primaries and related co-investments. He has over 15 years of experience in alternative investments and serves on a number of private credit fund advisory boards. Prior to his current role, Josh was integral in developing Aksia's diligence efforts, leading efforts in private real estate credit and structured credit investments. He started his career at Aksia in 2008. Josh graduated with honors from the University of Chicago with a BA in Economics.

Kara is Head of Client Operations and Risk Management and has over 25 years of experience in portfolio management and reporting and over 32 years of industry experience. She oversees the teams responsible for providing middle-office operations, risk analysis and data collection. Prior to Aksia's acquisition of TorreyCove Capital Partners, Kara was a co-founder of TorreyCove Capital Partners, where she worked in a similar capacity and led the firm's Risk Management team. Prior to that, Kara was a Managing Director and Chief Compliance Officer at PCG Asset Management. Earlier, she was a Retirement Plan Consultant with U.S. Pension Services and was responsible for plan design, administration and IRS-required compliance. She also held a similar position with The Wyatt Company (now Towers Watson). Kara graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a BS in Finance. She holds an MSc in Finance from San Diego State University.
