The Thomas Christie Almshouse Charity has an excellent reputation for providing quality homes for older people in need, whether the need is financial, physical or emotional - for example, loneliness and isolation following a bereavement... All our residents have their own front door and value their independence within the community, whilst also having the security of a warden. Being close to the town centre, residents can enjoy everything Bedford has to offer... All residents have their own front doors. At John Crosse House we avoided long stretches of anonymous corridors. Residents bring their own furniture so every home is different.
