Adam Wolfe joined ASR from MRB where he was drove the firm's view on the Chinese economy and policy, and was responsible for helping determine MRB's Asia Ex-Japan view. Prior to this, he was Director of Emerging Asia for Roubini Global Economics.
Amy specialises in office and financial administration and has previously worked in a variety of industries in both Glasgow and London. Amy graduated with an MA in Literary Studies from the University of Glasgow.

Ben Blanchard joined ASR as an economist in September 2016, most recently focusing on European economics. He holds a degree in Economics from the University of Bath.
Carly Beattie started her career at Dresdner Kleinwort, spending 6 years on the highly ranked European Equity Sales desk, before moving to Evolution Securities as a Director in Equity Sales.

Chris Turner heads up Multi Asset Strategy at ASR. He was Head of Strategy at Lombard Street Research, and previously managed global equity and tactical asset allocation portfolios at Merrill Lynch Investment Managers.
Zahra Ward-Murphy Asset Allocation Strategist Zahra covers alternative and real assets. Before joining ASR, Zahra worked as a global economist at Dresdner Kleinwort, and as an FX analyst at both Dresdner Kleinwort and BNP Paribas. She is a CFA charterholder.

David is Head of Research, Ian is Chief Investment Strategist. Together they formulate ASR's overall view of markets across asset classes and across time horizons.
David Bowers is ASR's Head of Research. Previously, he was chief global investment strategist for Merrill Lynch, where he worked for eleven years -including three years in New York. He ran the Global Fund Managers' Survey - a powerful tool for understanding how investors view the world.

Stefano Di Domizio leads for ASR on Fixed Income Strategy. He has over 15 years' experience as an economist and strategist, having worked at JPMorgan, Intesa-SanPaolo Bank and Lombard Street Research.
Dominic White has 15 years' experience, working first at the UK Treasury and latterly on the number-one ranked European economics team at ABN Amro covering the UK and eurozone economies.

Michael Hessel Head of Thematics Michael Hessel has been with ASR since September 2011, focusing on political economy and political risk in Europe, as well as thematic research. Prior to joining, Michael read Politics & Philosophy at Edinburgh University.
Ian has over 25 years of experience in economics and equity strategy, having previously been Chief European Investment Strategist at UBS (where he was #1 Extel ranked for European Strategy). He also led European Strategy for NatWest Markets and was Group Chief Economist for Société Generale London. Ian started his career as an Economist at the Bank of England and has a Doctorate in Economics from Oxford University.
James Warden joined ASR from CFRA, where he spent over 3.5 years on the Institutional Sales Team across EMEA. James has nine years of experience in the independent research space, primarily across equities and macro strategy in both Hong Kong and London.
Jeff Marine is responsible for developing and managing ASR's institutional investor client business in North America. He previously worked for Merrill Lynch, Nomura and HSBC in Multi-Asset/Equity Sales and Corporate Finance in New York and London.
Joana Gutierrez has experience driving efficiency and growth through enterprise-wide initiatives for financial institutions with experience at a multi-strategy hedge fund, a commodities trade desk and at Wells Fargo Financial Advisors.

Luke MacRedmond is head of ASR's Australasian business. His prior experience includes portfolio management roles in London and Dublin and senior executive positions for HSBC Asset Management and Challenger Financial Services in Australia.
Michael Hessel Head of Thematics Michael Hessel has been with ASR since September 2011, focusing on political economy and political risk in Europe, as well as thematic research. Prior to joining, Michael read Politics & Philosophy at Edinburgh University.
Michael Penn is Head of Macro ESG, advising investors on how to integrate ESG factors into the drivers of views on macroeconomics, strategy and asset allocation.
Prior to joining ASR he was Chief Economist and Strategist at Cohen & Steers in New York, and previously spent eight years as an economist and strategist at Merrill Lynch in New York and London.
Misha Boskovic works with Chris Turner on gathering and processing sentiment, positioning and momentum data across global asset classes. Previously he worked for 14 years at Merrill Lynch/BofAML as a data analyst in their European Equity and Quantitative Strategy teams and ran the data behind the ML Fund Manager Survey.
Peter has over 30 years' experience working in financial services in senior operational and technical roles. Most recently he was COO of HSBC's Global Research division. Prior to that, he was CTO for Global Equity Advisory at UBS.
Peter Bradshaw is a Macro Specialist Salesperson with a comprehensive knowledge of cross asset global markets and key relationships to senior clients. Prior to joining ASR he was top ranked as Head of Multi-Asset Sales at UBS, and top-three ranked for Equity Research across multiple sectors/countries at BAML before helping found their Global Equity Sales team.
Phil Lightfoot joined ASR from Oxford Economics, where he spent over 4 years managing clients across Europe. Phil has over 20 years of experience in the industry, covering clients globally on Macro / Investment strategy issues.
Piers Mizen is Head of Sales to Continental European Institutions at ASR. He has close to 30 years European sales experience working for firms including Kleinwort Benson, Merrill Lynch and State Street.
Richard Mylles joined ASR from the BBC's Political Research Unit, working on Hardtalk, The Andrew Marr Show and also Sky Sunrise. Richard holds a degree in PPE from Warwick and an MA from City University, London.
Rob DeLuca joined ASR after 5 1/2 years at Eurasia Group. He has over 20 years of experience Trading FX, Fixed income, and Macro at several Banks and Hedge Funds. Rob also spent six years as a Managing Director at Medley Global Advisors, where he was a macro strategist responsible for providing monetary, political, and strategic insights to hedge funds and institutional investment clients.
Simon Calder has extensive experience in economic forecasting and research, investment strategy, and public policy analysis. Prior to joining ASR, Simon held roles with major global asset consultant Mercer, National Australia Bank, Australian stockbroker JB Were & Son and the Australian Treasury. Simon has qualifications in economics from Monash University and the University of New England.

Beth McCann Specialist Sales Beth McCann joined ASR in February 2010 and was previously a member of the European equities sales team at Nat West Markets.
Verity is the Head of Sales for ASR and has been rated in the top three in Extel's Macro Specialist Sales category every year since 2003.
Verity has been rated in the top 3 of the Macro Specialist Sales category (often in the #1 position) by Extel in the Global and European Economic and Strategy categories every year since 2003: in 2019 she was ranked No 1 in Global Strategy, No 1 in Global Economics and No 1 in Multi-Asset. She previously worked for 19 years at Dresdner Kleinwort, both running UK equity sales and as a Macro Specialist.
Zach Krivine joined ASR in October 2020 from Berenberg where he worked on the firm's European equity sales desk in New York. Prior to this, he interned at Macquarie Investment Management in Philadelphia. He holds a BA in Economics and French from Bucknell University and is a CFA Level 2 candidate.
