Aidan Fay

Job Titles:

Aidan has a Bachelor of Arts degree (Major in Sociology, Minor in Geographic Information Systems) from McGill University in Montreal, Quebec. His specialization in statistics and demographics developed a strong understanding of the fundamentals of project coordination. He honed these skills in his most recent position as an Event and Project Coordinator based out of the Sunshine Coast, BC. The Sea to Sky team has provided Aidan with an avenue to continue developing his proficiency in event-based interactions and association management projects. Aidan speaks English and is improving his French.

Andrea Schreil

Job Titles:
  • Senior Project Coordinator
Andrea worked previously as an Event- and Marketing Manager at the Munich Airport in Germany. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Tourism Management with a focus on destination and event management from the Diploma University of Applied Sciences (Germany). She has more than six years of experience in the German event and marketing industry. Even as a child, she discovered her passion for the Meetings and Events Industry and loves to work with people from all over the world. Andrea speaks English and German.

Anna Sukhikh

Job Titles:
  • Project Assistant
Anna has a Bachelor of Arts degree (Major in Linguistics, Minor in French) from the University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada). During her studies, she has administered a number of in-person and online research conferences with her roles varied from a coordinator to the chair of organizing committee. Joining S2S team and Meetings and Events Industry contributes to her passion for communication and project-oriented work. Anna speaks English, Russian, and French.

Ian Holliday - President

Job Titles:

Ian directs the Sea to Sky team and oversees and manages client projects. He has more than twenty years of experience planning and staging conferences, events, trade shows and meetings spanning six continents, twelve countries and all the major Canadian cities. Ian started his career in Ottawa working with an association management company before moving to Vancouver. He has taught event and conference management courses at a private institution. Before his career in meeting planning, he spent ten years in sales and sales management. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree (Economics) from the University of Waterloo.

Kim McLaren

Job Titles:
  • Bookkeeper, Projects
Kim has more than 20 years of experience with bookkeeping and accounting functions and holds her CPA, CGA designation. She brings with her a love for numbers and ensures all financial transactions are tracked and reported accurately in order to provide a clear picture of our clients' finances. When Kim isn't preparing balanced statements, she is an avid traveller and loves to visit and explore new places.

Lydia Eggers

Job Titles:
  • Bookkeeper, Lead and Associations
Lydia is responsible for Sea to Sky's accounting function. She has more than twenty years of experience providing management and clients with detailed and accurate accounting reports and project costs in support of strategic decision making. She has a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Economics and Accounting. Lydia speaks English and German.

Marilyn Lawrie

Marilyn has more than 20 years of experience in business development consulting in many industries. She has an innate ability to empathize with and influence people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds. Her expertise in sales management and marketing comes from working with associations, small businesses, and international corporations. Marilyn's specialty knowledge in health care marketing ensures a solid understanding of the ethical requirements in sourcing new, viable partners or working with sensitivity within an established network.

Sarah Lowis - Founder

Sarah strives to make the world a better place by helping organizations thrive through managing their conferences, events, and associations, in Canada and around the World. As Impact Officer she provides strategic leadership and guidance, pertaining to the management of the company she founded and its clients, in areas such as continuous improvement, finance, business development, human resources and training and education. She is passionate about the performing arts and environmental conservation and is currently serving as President of the Living Forest Institute and President of the Sunshine Coast Festival of the Performing Arts. Sarah is a Past President of Meeting Professionals International, BC Chapter, and was the first person in British Columbia to achieve the Certified Meeting Manager designation (1999). She achieved her Certified Meeting Professional designation in 1997 and her Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation in 2018. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree, French major, from Concordia University in Montreal, Quebec and speaks English and French. Sarah Lowis, Founder and Impact Officer of Sea to Sky Meeting and Association Management, started the company in 2001 out of a desire to provide conference and event management services at a level of professionalism well above other providers. She recognized a niche for defining events as a strategic tool in an organization's ability to achieve goals, not just as an excuse to get together.

Sherri Corrie

Sherri has been working in the fields of research, administration, communication, marketing and project management since the late 1990s. Her varied background supports Sea to Sky in its Association Management business. She holds a Master's in Public Administration from the University of Victoria and a Bachelor of Arts from Laval University. She speaks English and French.

Tessa Clooney

Job Titles:
  • Project Coordinator
Tessa has a Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology and Audiology and has recently retired from Island Health after 28 years specializing in Alternative Augmentative Communication Technology and Dysphagia Management. While working at Island Health Tessa participated in the coordination of conferences and education opportunities. During this time, she recognized the need for and value of ongoing education, continued learning and the importance of enhancing professional skills through shared knowledge.

Vivian Trieschmann

Job Titles:

Vivian has a Post Baccalaureate Diploma in Global Hospitality and Tourism Management at Capilano University in Vancouver, Canada and a Bachelor degree in Business Management from the PUC University in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. She has more than ten years of experience in the travel industry and recently discovered her passion for the Meetings and Events Industry. Vivian speaks English and Portuguese.
