Past president of the Maryland chapter of the Associates for Talent Development (formerly ASTD) and co-host of the Maryland ATD Elearning Special Interest Group, Cheryl has created elearning modules and courses for numerous corporate, non-profit, and government organizations and has a proven track record of delivering elearning projects on-time and on-budget. Proficient in both Captivate and Storyline, she is an Adobe Certified Instructor and Certified Expert in Captivate, an outstanding Articulate Storyline trainer, and the author of the Creating Design Ready Content for Elearning class.   Skilled at formal and informal presentations and communications, Cheryl is the consummate elearning and instructional design professional, Cheryl is your go to "elearning productivity partner."

Julie White

Inspired by developing leaders and making an impact on the lives of others, Julie has been an integral member of the Strategic Development Associates team since 2002. Prior to joining Strategic Development Associates, she served as an Operations Supports Manager, Training and Development Specialist, and Training Account Manager at Allegis Group, Inc. Julie also owned and operated a Huntington Learning Center for eight years and was consistently recognized as a top performing franchisee. While operating the learning center, Julie continued to work with several organizations to design, develop, and deliver courses in the areas of leadership and team development. Julie serves as a trusted partner to a variety of clients in the IT, staffing, medical and banking industries by providing custom training and guiding them through the process of designing, developing, deploying and measuring new hire onboarding, employee training programs, leadership development, and process improvement. She has her Master's Degree in Applied Behavioral Science with a concentration in Human Resources Development and Organizational Development from School of Professional Studies of Business and Education at Johns Hopkins University. An outdoor enthusiast who enjoys running, yoga, paddle boarding and spending time on the beach, Julie lives in Annapolis, Maryland with her husband and three children.

Rachel Densmore

Responsible for all accounting, administrative tasks, and helping clients stay on schedule, Rachel has served as Strategic Development Associates office manager since 2013. With a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting from S.U.N.Y Geneseo, Rachel previously held roles in accounting, project management, consulting, and training for the accounting software Microsoft Great Plains. Rachel is also a certified USAG gymnastics coach and an assistant volleyball coach. A lifelong singer who performed in many school musicals growing up, Rachel currently sings cantor at her church. She resides in Odenton, Maryland with her husband and two children.

Torrey Owens - CEO, Founder

As the CEO and founder of Strategic Development Associates, Torrey helps businesses overcome the challenges they face by developing systems and strategies necessary for organizational change and growth. Prior to founding SDA in 2002, Torrey served in various internal corporate functions, such as Talent Development, Account Management, and Program Management, and Human Resources for Allegis Group, Inc. and AAI Corporation. A trusted business advisor and coach, she has helped a variety of executives solve problems and implement solutions to optimize their team structures and work environments. Working on large, complex projects to identify processes and implement change and learning solutions are some of her favorite undertakings. With over 20 years experience, she offers a wealth of knowledge to clients seeking organizational change management consulting, leadership development and coaching. Torrey is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and a member of Chesapeake Bay Organizational Development Network, and Association for Change Management. She received her Master's Degree in industrial/organizational psychology from the University of Baltimore. She resides in Severna Park, Maryland with her husband and two daughters. A longtime skiing enthusiast, her dream is to visit Switzerland and ski in the Swiss alps.
