Andrew has been in this business for 19 years and provides expert carpentry services to customers of A&A Services. Originally from the North Shore, he understands our unique climate and tailors solutions according to customer needs. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends, spending time with his two dogs, and fishing on his boat. The best part about A&A Services according to Andrew? The people.
Originally from Albania, Aurel has spent eighteen proud years perfecting his carpentry skills, and brought his expertise to A & A Services in 2019. As Foreman, he keeps our job site operations running smoothly. A dedicated family man (and Pup Pop to a Shepard Mix named Youki!), Aurel can be found tearing down mountains on a snowboard or restoring his own cars, for the challenge. Eager to learn from childhood, today Aurel is one of our most knowledgeable leaders, licensed in lead-safe construction and well-experienced with boom lifts.
Barb is Chris' wife and joined the company full time in 1987. She brought her banking background with her to help manage the business and set up systems in the office that we use to this day. Barb was able to step away from the business to raise their 3 children and earn her degree in Business Administration/Marketing. She came back to work in 2009 and is the central part of all the office operations. Barb is in charge of all the department leaders and oversees the marketing

Chris is the owner and President of A & A Services, Inc. Chris started the business in 1982 as a handyman and painter. As the business grew, he took on employees and has diversified into several branches including roofing, siding, window, and door replacement. Chris has worked hard to build his impressive reputation in the home improvement field. In business since 1982, his commitment to customer satisfaction is as strong as the day he started.
For the last three years, Craig has worked as our marketing assistant. He's currently studying Business with a concentration in Marketing; combined with his love of technology, Craig is a vital asset to the company. He loves music and his two cats, Felix and Star, who love to be serenaded by Craig's piano playing. He strives toward moderation and work/life balance as a way to give 100% of yourself in every situation and plans to one day visit Reykjavik and Tokyo in person. We know he will.

Dave is the Production Manager at A&A Services, a company he describes as having "great people" and a "commitment to customer service." He holds a Home Improvement Contractor. card and OSHA License, making him uniquely and professionally qualified to manage our production. Originally from NYC, Dave enjoys boating, deep-sea fishing, playing basketball, and going to the beach. He also plays in two bands, enjoys music performance and production, and has an Australian Shepard named Blue.
Ed has been with the company since 1992 and started out working summers as a laborer in the field while going to college. He graduated with a degree in Environmental Engineering. Customers know when dealing with Ed that he knows what he is talking about with every aspect of the project and are confident in his expertise as he has hands-on experience with every product line. Ed lives in Salem with his wife and daughter.
Jeremy Fanning is a star on our sales team. With a foundation in business and a background in both construction and sales, Jeremy embodies A&A's commitment to mastery and practical experience. He grew up in Gloucester, MA taking part in the St. Peter's Fiesta - and yes, for those who know, he is one of the Greasy Pole walkers! His cherished memories are camping trips to Pine Acres and Barrington Shores. Today, Jeremy is also a loving father, a talented guitar player, and an avid outdoorsman. You might spot him hiking with his blue nose pitbull Eli or on a ski lift with his snowboard. Jeremy carries that enthusiasm into his work with A&A, and we're lucky to have him.
Jerry joined us this year but is no stranger to the field: with 20+ years of experience we're confident you'll understand our excitement at his arrival. If you're fortunate, you may hear stories about far-flung destinations or performing in bands for almost four decades. That passion for travel and positivity infuses his work - an unteachable talent. Did we mention the years spent as a commercial scuba diver searching out sea anemones?! Stop us, we're raving; but if there are limits to Jerry's abilities we have yet to encounter them.
Jim is a member of our sales team. Having worked in the field for over 20 years, he is able to provide expert guidance to our customers to select the best materials for their homes. He holds his own Home Improvement Contractors License and is also Building Performance Institute certified. Of A&A Services, he says he enjoys the "family-oriented feeling" and sense of security working with a company that has been in business for over 40 years. He is a native to Boston's North Shore and holds values such as respect, honesty, and pride close to his heart. In his free time, he loves spending time with his family at the lake, his dog Tessie, playing music (he used to be in a touring band!) and hanging out with his wonderful kids.
Michelle joined the A&A Services team in 2021 as an Administrative Assistant, and her stellar work ethic aligns perfectly with our "five star service" mentality as a company. She is a certified bookkeeper and working to become a notary public. Having lived in the Salem, MA area for over 30 years, she knows the area as well as anyone and always does her best. In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with her kids, her beloved pets (a cat named Sammy and a dog named Chase), cooking, baking, reading, painting, and finding new places to explore with her family.
Our specialists are unmatched - behind the scenes, our talent shines just as bright. Patty is our resident numbers genius with sixteen years in the accounting field and a knack for keeping our books organized. What she loves about her job is the people and the flexibility. Add to all that, a quick wit, a mighty golf swing, and a secret talent for mixology, we wonder: is there anything Patty can't do?
Sam is our fabulous Office Manager. She is an unabashed joy to have during the day, working tirelessly behind the scenes to make sure we can work our hardest for our clients. Sam believes we are all, at times, teachers and students: a warm and elegant ideal that permeates her life. Her cat, Magic, simply appeared one day and joined her family; we love this anecdote because it perfectly captures Sam's ability to take any situation in stride - she is A&As's calm, confident center!
Scott MacKenzie, Foreman, has been in the field for 40 years and is a very talented finish carpenter. He has been trained as a Supervisor for the EPA RRP Lead In Construction Standards and is willing to take on any project he is assigned. In addition, he tirelessly manages all his job sites with professionalism and attention to detail. He doesn't leave until the customer is satisfied. He is loved by all, customers and employees alike, and a true asset to A&A Services. Scott's greatest strength is that he loves helping people solve their problems. In his free time, he enjoys going to church, the movies, bowling, and spending time at home in Peabody with his wife and daughter.
Sean has been with the company since 1987. He graduated college with a degree in psychology. He worked in the field as a laborer and developed his skills to become a foreman. He ran crews for several years and decided to further his knowledge of the company by becoming a salesman. Sean became an expert on all the product lines and combined with his knowledge from the field, has much success in sales. He continues to sell and is currently the Sales Manager. Sean lives in Salem with his wife and three children.
Tracy is the absolute powerhouse of our customer relations. She loves animals, sharing her home with a cat and advocating for pitbulls (the big loves!), and that spirit of empathy reaches into everything Tracy does. Now a stellar mother and rockstar representative, Tracy has trotted the globe - even living in Brazil - pursuing her passion for the beach, fitness, and the great outdoors. We could not be happier that Tracy chooses to spend her time (indoors) with us.
Willie has been with the company since 1998 and started as a painter laborer. Willie truly embodies A&A Services' core values of 1) being a team player, 2) doing whatever it takes, and 3) always delivering a positive experience. He has been trained as a Lead-Safe Renovator Supervisor and currently works on carpentry, window/doors, and gutter jobs. In his free time, Willie enjoys amusement parks, fishing, and working out. He lives in Salem with his wife and two sons.
