The ABD acronym came from the credit union representing the Auto Beauty Division of Briggs Manufacturing. Eventually Briggs was bought out by Chrysler Corporation and came to represent Chrysler employees. Mack Stamping was the first Chrysler owned facility represented by ABD. Our first office was on Mack Avenue in Detroit and the first person to become a member was Ken Morris, formerly of Region 1B... We are a full-service financial institution.
