Jamie (James) Kresge - Founder

Jamie (James) Kresge is the founder and leader of the Abington Financial Group since 1992. Before his role as President and CEO of Abington Financial Group, Jamie worked in the health care industry. To keep informed and up to date with the changing economic environment, Jamie holds a Registered Financial Consultant (RFC) designation and is a member of the Northeast Estate Planning Council.

Jim Anderson - COO

As Director of Operations with Abington Financial Group, Jim is responsible for organizing and overseeing the daily operations for the firm. Jim has been a member of the team since 2020. With over 14 years of experience in finance, he brings with him the confidence and comfortability in which our customers can rely upon. Jim is a firm believer in the importance of communication, relying on an open-air approach to best understand your needs and requests. Jim works consistently to raise the bar and deliver a level of service that exceeds expectations. Some of Jim's daily responsibilities include new client acquisitions, servicing our existing clients, office compliance, and assisting with financial planning programs. Jim is also an appointed Notary Public. Jim is a native of the NEPA region, born and raised in Clarks Summit where he currently resides. After graduating from Abington Heights High School, he attended the University of Scranton, where he obtained a bachelor's degree in marketing and business management. In his free time, Jim loves traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends, especially his dog Mia. He is an active member of his church and a member of the Clarks Summit Fire Company No. 1, Inc.

Peggy Verdetto - CMO

Peggy Verdetto is an Executive Assistant and Director of Marketing at Abington Financial Group. She is the smiling face that greets our clients and answers the phones. She oversees administrative polices within the office and manages Jamie's calendar, including scheduling appointments and making changes to appointments. She also assists Jim Anderson in providing administrative assistance, preparing reports, collect and analyze information, and prepare for presentations. Peggy joined the family in 2020. Peggy is graduate of Abington Heights High School, with a degree in Microcomputer Operations from Star Technical Institute. As a former business owner, Peggy understands the day-to-day operations and commitment it takes to be a success in today's economic climate. Interested in finance, and furthering her knowledge, she sought out a career in the financial field. Her goal is to help facilitate strong relationships with the clients of Abington Financial Group, and to be the backbone of the office, assisting in every way she can. Peggy now resides in Scranton with her husband, and her beloved dog, Blue. When she is not working, she loves walking Blue, cooking, and being the best big sister, she can be. Peggy also enjoys spending time with her mother and special needs aunt, whom she adores.
