Amy G. Finney

Amy joined ABR Capital Partners in 2022 and serves as Director of Creative and Communications. Her primary responsibility is to oversee the creative department of the firm, including brand marketing, publications, events, communications and public relations. Amy has over fifteen years of experience in brand marketing, working in both domestic and international marketing environments and spanning industries from consumer products to financial services. Prior to ABR, Amy oversaw public relations and special projects at Edelman Financial Services (now Edelman Financial Engines) and before that spent ten years with Under ArmourĀ®, primarily in international brand marketing. Between marketing roles, Amy took time to serve in the Peace Corps, spending two years in Botswana focused on HIV/AIDS education and prevention efforts. Amy holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Richmond, an MBA from the University of Maryland, and an MA in Graphic Design from the Maryland Institute College of Art.

Annie Villamater

Annie joined ABR in 2023 as an Associate with the Capital Formation and Investor Relations team, which is dedicated to forging enduring relationships with the firm's Limited Partners and other market participants, principally investment consultants. Annie works across the firm's acquisitions, asset management, compliance, executive, investment, HR, finance, and legal teams in coordinating the investor relations and capital formation activities on behalf of ABR. Annie's prior experience includes two years as an Acquisitions and Investor Relations Analyst at Chasen Companies and three years as an Associate on the Exotic Equity Derivatives team at Morgan Stanley. Annie earned her BA from Dickinson College.

Constance E. Warner

As a Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer for ABR Capital Partners, Dan oversees the firm's financial systems and reporting, and its sponsored funds and investment assets. Additionally, Dan manages the funds' tax and regulatory filings, quarterly investor reporting, banking relationships and annual fund audits. Dan has over twenty-five years of experience managing the accounting and financial reporting functions across a wide array of real estate related businesses, including residential, commercial, retail and hospitality. Dan joined ABR in 2021 and since joining, has overseen the transition of ABR from a C-Corp to an LLC, has overhauled the funds' accounting and administration function and has implemented company-wide technology upgrades. Prior to ABR, Dan served as Director of Financial Reporting and Accounting for Brookfield Properties - North American Hospitality, Chief Financial Officer for Streetscape Partners, a Washington, DC area developer, and Division Controller for K. Hovnanian Homes - Mid Atlantic Region. Dan received his BS in Accounting from Penn State University and his MBA from the University of Pittsburgh - Katz School of Business. David has represented ABR in the acquisition, financing and disposition of real estate valued at over $2.5 billion. Prior to ABR, David practiced law with Vinson & Elkins in Dallas, Texas. David received his BA from Union College and his JD from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law. He is licensed to practice law in Maryland and Texas (inactive). Debo Ayeni

Debo serves as the Director of Research and Data Analytics for ABR Capital Partners. Debo has over twenty years of experience conducting accounting, finance, and research operations for private and public investment firms. He joined ABR in 2020 and is responsible for managing the firm's research initiatives. Previously, Debo served as SVP of Finance and VP of Financial Analysis and Corporate Accounting for the real estate investment firm Wakefield Capital Management and as Senior Associate for the T. Rowe Price Group. Debo received his BS and MBA from the University of Maryland and his JD from the University of Maryland School of Law. He is a Certified Public Accountant and licensed attorney. In addition to his professional activities, Debo is a contributor to the Accounting and Information Assurance Advisory Board at the University of Maryland's Robert H. Smith School of Business. Debo is a member of ABR's Investment Committee.

Edward P. Nordberg - CEO

Ed serves as a Senior Managing Director for ABR Capital Partners and is an experienced real estate and finance executive, having spent thirty years leading businesses that have invested institutional capital in middle market transactions. During his career, Ed has directed or overseen hundreds of investments in seniors housing portfolios, medical office building portfolios, other real estate assets and corporate finance transactions. Prior to ABR, Ed served as the Executive Chairman of Wakefield Capital Management, Inc., which he co-founded in 2004. Since its inception, Wakefield acquired, managed and sold (in part through a joint venture with Northstar Realty Finance, Inc.), over $750 million in seniors housing and healthcare-related real estate. From May 2004 through April 2006, Ed directed Wakefield's investment and asset management activities on behalf of CNL Retirement, Inc. and a private real estate investment partnership known as Chain Bridge Capital. From April 1998 through April 2004, Ed served as CFO and, later, CEO of Medical Office Properties, Inc., which was sold to CNL Retirement, Inc. in April 2004 for $256.5 million. In 1993, Ed co-founded and served as CFO and Director of HealthCare Financial Partners, Inc., a commercial finance company focused on the healthcare services industry, which was taken public in 1996 and sold for approximately $500 million in 1999 to Heller Financial, Inc., now part of Capital One Financial Corporation. Prior to 1993, Ed was a practicing lawyer with Williams & Connolly in Washington, DC. He received his BA from Washington College, his MBA from Loyola College and his JD from Georgetown University. Eric M. Campbell

Eric joined ABR in 2002 and has also served as Acquisitions Analyst and Asset Manager. Jack S. Griswold

Jake C. Martin

Jake joined ABR in 2006 and serves as a Director of Acquisitions for the firm. He has over eighteen years of experience in the commercial real estate industry focused on the middle-market and previously served as an Analyst and Acquisition Officer for the firm. Throughout his tenure with ABR, Jake has acquired more than $1 billion in real estate investments across all asset classes on behalf of the firm's clients. Prior to ABR, Jake worked as a Property Manager for Continental Realty Corporation in their residential division. Jake received his BA from the University of Pennsylvania. He was previously a Board Member for Rebuilding Together Baltimore.

Jennifer Y. Rulf

As Assistant Treasurer for ABR Capital Partners, Jen manages all debt- and treasury-related banking relationships and oversees all partnership- and fund-related fair value accounting and reporting. Jen joined ABR in 2000 and has served as Senior Accountant and, since 2022, Assistant Treasurer. She has over twenty years of experience with fund portfolio and operating investment accounting, having previously served as a Senior Accountant at KPMG and before that, Legg Mason. Jen received her BBA from Loyola University Maryland. She is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive).

Joann D. Savage

Joann is an IT Specialist and focuses her efforts on various aspects of user support as well as network systems and software support. Joann also acts as our Community Impact Coordinator where she organizes events and solicits participation for ABR's various community impact programs. She joined ABR in 1988 and received certifications in Microsoft Office from the Community College of Baltimore County and Network Administration from Howard University.

John E. Byrnes

Prior to his career in Asset Management, John was a residential real estate agent with O'Conor, Piper & Flynn Realtors in Baltimore. Kent Weldon

Lawrence "Lee" Collins - Managing Director

Lee serves as a Managing Director for ABR Capital Partners, overseeing the firm's Asset Management and Disposition functions. Lee joined the firm's Asset Management team in 2005 and assumed his current role in 2012. He began directing ABR's Disposition function in 2018. Lee is also a member of ABR's Investment and Executive Committees. Prior to joining ABR, Lee worked for a local real estate investment firm and held a Maryland Commercial Real Estate Appraiser's license (inactive). Lee received his BBA and MBA from Loyola University in Baltimore. Mr. Bunting is the Chief Financial Officer and co-founder of Alpine Food Service Solutions and Chief Executive Officer of Blue Jar Family Council. Established in 1996, Alpine is an award-winning food service provider for host locations on college campuses and hospitals throughout the United States. Mr. Bunting serves on the Board of Directors for civic organizations such as Civic Works, National Aquarium in Baltimore, Outward Bound and Catholic Charities. Mr. Bunting's philanthropic endeavors include his role as Director of the Bunting Family Foundation - Fund B, a private Foundation which was formed in 1992. Mr. Bunting received his BA in Business Administration from Stevenson University and earned a Wealth Management Certificate from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.

Maree H. Tucker

Matthew R. Johnson

Michael P. Murphy

Mike serves as Head of Capital Markets for ABR Capital Partners. Mike has twenty-two years of experience in real estate consulting and investment management, fundraising and business development, relationship management, and financial analysis. Since joining ABR in 2018, Mike has successfully assisted the firm in raising capital, increasing its profile within the institutional investment community, and generating new business ideas. Prior to joining ABR, Mike served as Managing Director, Principal and Head of the Cleveland Office for Courtland Partners, Ltd. (now part of StepStone Real Estate). At Courtland Partners, he led the Cleveland Office, served on the Management and Investment Committees, and was the Head of Client Relationships for one of the industry's leading real asset consultants. Mike also served as an Analyst at Stark Investments. Mike received his BS, Cum Laude, from Marquette University and his MBA from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.

Michelle Childers

Michelle has over 20 years of human resources experience and has been responsible for developing and executing human resource programs including talent acquisition, change management, performance management, training and development, total rewards, engagement, communication, risk management, and succession planning. Michelle joined ABR in 2023. Previously, Michelle was head of human resources for 15 years for the CPA firm of Arthur Bell/Cohen & Company and prior to that served in human resources roles for McCormick and T. Rowe Price. Michelle earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Bucknell University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Baltimore. She is certified as a PHR and SHRM-CP.

Mike R. O'Neil

Prior to ABR, Patricia worked on commercial real estate transactions for Noble Investment Group and Thayer Lodging Group. She received her BS from Towson University.

Peter C. Heller

Peter joined ABR's acquisitions team in 2022 and focuses on identifying and structuring investments throughout the east coast of the United States. He has over thirteen years of experience investing in real estate for institutional and private clients. Prior to joining ABR, Peter served as a Vice President at SJG Properties, a Washington, DC focused owner, operator, and developer. Prior to SJG, Peter spent eight years at a Washington, DC-based fund operator, Penzance, where he spearheaded the firm's transition into multifamily ownership and was integral to the firm's launch of a $255 million discretionary fund vehicle. Peter started his real estate career at LaSalle Investment Management as a member of the acquisitions team responsible for investing on behalf of the firm's commingled funds and separate account clients. Peter received his BA from Denison University.

Philip C. Benvenuto

As a Director of Acquisitions for ABR Capital Partners, Phil focuses his efforts on sourcing and structuring joint venture investment opportunities for ABR's investment programs, with a particular emphasis on opportunities in the Midwest and a sector focus on hospitality real estate. In his current role, Phil has directly sourced transactions totaling more than $550 million for ABR's investment programs. Phil joined ABR in 2010 as an Acquisition Analyst, assisting in underwriting transactions totaling more than $200 million, and ultimately closed by various ABR funds. Phil received his BA from Clemson University and his MSRE from the Carey Business School at Johns Hopkins University.

R. Dixon H. Harvey

Tom serves as a Senior Managing Director and Chief Investment Officer for ABR Capital Partners. Tom joined ABR in 1992 and has served as Asset Manager, Director of Asset Management, Chief Operating Officer and, since 2005, Chief Investment Officer. On behalf of ABR's clients, Tom has acquired and managed over $3 billion in real estate investments across a variety of property sectors and U.S. markets. He has helped transition the firm from its roots as a single asset syndication platform to its institutional fund program, which to date has acquired over 100 assets and invested over $1 billion in client capital. Prior to ABR, Tom served as Asset Manager for insurance company USF&G and Senior Accountant for Ernst & Whinney (now EY). He has also served on the faculty of the real estate departments of Georgetown University and the University of Maryland. Tom received his BS from the University of Maryland and his MBA from the Wharton School. He is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and Certified Management Accountant (inactive). In addition to his professional activities, Tom serves on the Real Estate & Infrastructure Advisory Board of the Johns Hopkins Carey School of Business and on the Board of Directors for Adoptions Together (formerly chair) and Constantine Housing Initiative. Topher Brewer

Topher is a Senior Advisor for ABR Capital Partners and serves as a resource for raising capital and leading strategic initiatives. Topher joined ABR in 2021 to focus on capital formation and marketing. Prior to ABR, Topher served as Managing Director at Sands Capital where he led an effort to broaden the business mix to include global financial institutions and intermediated retail. During his time as VP of Sales at Facet Wealth, Topher oversaw all sales activities and worked with RIAs on partial book sales, transitioning smaller clients to better meet the needs of both the clients and the advisors. Prior to his time at Facet Wealth, Topher was a Partner at Brown Advisory, where he helped create and build the asset management business from ground zero. Topher received his BA from Washington College. In addition to his professional pursuits, Topher has served on the Boards of Irvine Nature Center, Healthcare Access Maryland, and Vermont Academy.

Vincent L. Prunier
