Adam Shaivitz - Founder

Adam has initiated and developed many of Accelerate Performance's long-term relationships. He has built, delivered, and coached sales/service/leadership development programs at Google, PIMCO, ADP, BlackRock, Facebook and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Adam is also the co-author of the Amazon.com best-seller, Selling is Everyone's Business. Importantly, Adam's grandmother once claimed that he is one of the top sales coaches on earth. Before selling consulting services and managing Accelerate Performance, Adam worked in sales, sales management, and marketing at Bristol-Myers Squibb and Score Learning Corporation, a division of Kaplan. At Score, Adam led the top performing team in the Midwest and one of the top performing teams in the country. Adam received a B.S. in Applied Economics and Business Management from Cornell University, where he played lacrosse for four years, and earned an M.B.A. in Marketing and Entrepreneurship from the Anderson School at UCLA. Adam was born and raised in Columbia, Maryland and currently resides in Hermosa Beach, California with his wife Melissa (a top salesperson from whom he receives regular coaching) and his young children Max and Rosie (who are also strong sellers who seem to get whatever they want).

With a Master's degree in Instructional Design and years of hands-on experience, Amy is driven by a genuine enthusiasm for helping learners succeed. During her time with the Sky Zone Franchise Group, she created over 100+ e-Learning modules and videos over 7 years and served more than 12,000 team members both nationally and globally. Most of her e-Learning modules have been translated into multiple languages such as Spanish, French, Norwegian and Chinese. On average, each of Amy's training videos have garnered over 600+ views. Bob has worked with a wide range of clients in various industries. Bob's has worked with and managed client relationships with Hilton, AAA, Enterprise Rent A Car, United Healthcare, Becton Dickinson, PIMCO and Google. Bob executes all phases of our business from prospecting new business to leading client relationships, program development and follow up. Bob is especially passionate about helping clients create the habits and discipline to sustain exceptional long-term performance. Prior to getting into the performance consulting world, Bob was responsible for leading the sales team at Alamo overseeing sales for the Western United States. Prior to his work as a Consultant, Brian was a leading producer and manager for one of the largest training and consulting companies in the world. Brian started his career with Ingersoll-Rand, eventually becoming the company's youngest award-winning Area Manager. Brian received a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University, where he was active in student government serving as president of the residence hall student council. Brian grew up in Cincinnati, attended High School in Southern New Jersey and lives in Long Beach, California with his wife Kim and their high school aged son Bryce. Their daughter Kendall is a freshman at Scripps College.

Brynn Harms

Jamie started her business career at Kaplan Inc where she served as the Midwest Regional Manager in charge of sales, service and operations for the company's K-12 learning division. Jamie was recognized as a company-wide mentor and sales trainer and succeeded at achieving 95% customer retention rate. Jamie continued her Kaplan career as a Senior Project Manager and Product Manager for the company's professional education division, Kaplan Professional. In this role, Jamie exceeded sales targets through product demonstrations, trade show appearances, virtual conferencing and training and effective prospecting efforts. Jamie received her B.A. in Psychology from Boston University, where she was also a full time scholarship student athlete on the NCAA D1 field hockey team. John Mayo

John brings a diverse background to his role as an instructional designer and training consultant. After serving as Deputy Training Director for the state of Iowa on President Obama's reelection campaign, John worked as a training lead at two start-ups (one on each coast!) and then was recruited to Oracle as Training Programs Project Manager. At Oracle, John supported the training and development of all employees within a 2,000-person sales division. He created training materials and delivered training for salespeople at multiple levels of the organization, both virtually and in person, and held sole responsibility for training initiatives in the Santa Monica office of 400+ employees. Collaborating with everyone from executive leadership to entry level employees, John worked to create training solutions that engaged learners and met the needs of the company. After leaving Oracle, John has done freelance training work for a wide variety of companies and organizations in the medical, staffing and industrial fields. Her work with Accelerate involves culling the world over to identify the right-fit talent to deliver on Accelerate's high standards. Prior to these roles, Kate owned and ran a successful franchised staffing firm in Los Angeles, served as Director of Global Brand Licensing for Skechers (sourcing and managing licensing programs on behalf of the $2 billion brand around the world), and worked as Director of Business Development for bsp (a brand extension consultancy). Kate received her BA in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin and her MBA from UCLA Anderson. She serves on a number of education-based non-profit boards, provides sales workshops for a number of individuals and institutions, and is an active member of a number of Los Angeles community organizations. She lives in Venice, CA with her husband, two young children, and fuzzy brown dog.

Kerry Barlas

Lauren LaForge

At the ripe age of 18, Lauren started her first sales job doing door-to-door sales. Mark Woodland

Mark has recently written a book entitled "Compete Selling" and is regularly interviewing and working with many of world's most influential sales executives. Mark brings a unique blend of operational and consulting experience to each of his projects. Before coming to Accelerate Performance, Mark ran an extensive sales and marketing operation for one of the country's oldest Direct Response companies. Being responsible for a marketing budget of $7.5-12M per year and ensuring a proper return on marketing investment, building brand awareness and driving consumer interest, Mark is acutely aware of the needs of both marketers and customers alike. Personally, Mark received a Bachelor of Science in Economic Theory from Utah State University and an MBA from the Huntsman School of Business where he also serves as an Adjunct Professor teaching sales and public speaking skills to MBA students. Molly started her career working as a door-to-door salesperson and quickly realized the thrill of commission and being directly rewarded for her hard work. In 2011, Molly was recruited by Trunk Club as one of the startup's first twenty employees, serving as a key contributor to the company's growth from a scrappy startup to acquisition by Nordstrom for $350 million. In her time at Trunk Club, Molly pioneered the national expansion of the company and moved her family to Los Angeles where she helped launch the company's first west coast office. Consistently promoted throughout her tenure, Molly ultimately recruited, hired, and trained over three hundred employees and conducted over two thousand interviews. One of her proudest accomplishments is building a team of sales people that were known for their high performance, positive attitude, and regular promotions. She worked tirelessly to create a best in class experience for her clients. Molly was the youngest leader promoted onto the executive team at Trunk Club where she helped lead the integration efforts between Trunk Club and Nordstrom. She most recently oversaw the National Sales Team across Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas. In late 2019, Molly built and launched Trunk Club's first remote workforce which was rolled out to the entire company at a critical time when the company's operation went remote.
