In 1994, Access Technologies, Inc., ATI, formed as a nonprofit organization to continue the work of the activities of the Assistive Technology Act of 1998 grant, which formed in 1990. Today, Oregon's Statewide Assistive Technology Program is sponsored by the Oregon Department of Human Services, Seniors and People with Disabilities and is partially funded by a grant from Rehabilitation Services Administration (RSA) of the U.S. Department of Education. ATI administers Oregon's Statewide Assistive Technology Program through a team of Certified Assistive Technology Specialists... Our Board of Directors, Advisory Council and Staff take pride in developing and implementing comprehensive services that further our organizational Mission: "to assure that persons with disabilities in Oregon will be able to secure and effectively use assistive technologies."... ATI provides assessments and trainings to help you gain or maintain independence at home, work, school, or in your community.
