Dr. Kristen Ritchey grew up in Southern Pennsylvania in Bedford County. After high school, she attended undergrad at St. Francis University in Pennsylvania. After graduation, she went onto Veterinary School at Ohio State University where she graduated from in 2015. She started working at Always Compassionate Veterinary Care in 2019. Dr. Ritchey's favorite part of Veterinary Medicine is Surgery. She enjoys doing eyelid surgeries, repairing skin wounds, and removing skin masses. She says that these surgeries are a favorite because she can make her patients more comfortable and also maybe a little bit more beautiful then when they first came in! Outside of work, Dr. Ritchey loves to spend time with her husband and son. She also has 2 rescue animals: An orange tabby cat named Julius (JuJu) and the sweetest, laziest pit-bull named Captain. Dr. Ritchey enjoys bike riding, reading, and watching true crime shows on Netflix.

Kimberly Werner

Dr. Werner attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine. She graduated in 1991 with a Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris. She began her career as a mixed animal veterinarian (seeing everything and anything that had 2, 4, or no legs) and since 1995 has been concentrating on companion animal medicine. She is a member in good standing with the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA), Western Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association (WPVMA), American Association of Feline Practitioners (AAFP), and International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management (IVAPM). Dr. Werner's primary veterinary interest is internal medicine & endocrinology. Her personal interests are gardening, baking, sports: Penguins hockey & football and spending time with her 3 cats, Rocky, Stoney, and Spencer.

Martha Faus

Dr. Faus graduated from Kansas State University and has been practicing Veterinary Medicine for over 20 years. She has been with Always Compassionate Veterinary Care since 2019. Although she enjoys a lot about Vet Med, her favorite part is surgery.
