Brett Johnston

Brett has 16 years in the coatings industry, also rising from the field and in the last 8 years project managing the majority of the work for one of the top industrial contractors in the western U.S., including many complex jobs, with newly developed specialty coatings. Brett is also a NACE certified inspector (#7555).

Jaime Cuevas

Jaime has 21 years of experience and is considered by many in the industry simply the best field technician around. Working for the same company as Rex, Ty and Brett, he helped build the company into one of the most respected names in industrial coating on the West Coast. Jaime has always been presented with the most difficult and complex jobs and has and does complete these tough projects with great success, both in the eyes of his employer, but more importantly in the eyes of the owner.

Juan Cuevas

Juan has 15 years of experience in as a safety coordinator in the industrial coatings industry. He possess a Supervisors Certificate for Lead - Related Construction from the State of California, and a Confined Space Trainers Certification.

Rex D. Johnston - CEO, President

Rex has 22 years of experience in coatings industry, working his way up through the field to become a foreman, superintendent and eventually vice president of one of the leading coating contractors in California, where he has run operations for the last 15 years.

Ty Johnston

Job Titles:

  • Project Manager
Ty has been in the coating industry for over 15 years with experience coming from both the manufacturer's side of sales and the contractor's side. With a background in sales and management from U.S.C., Ty understands what a customer is looking for when contracting with their subs and has excelled in providing smooth projects with the least amount of change in the process. His projects in the water industry included include some of the largest contracts from customers up and down the state.
