Dr. Antonia Langfeldt originally hails from Germany but grew up in Clarkston, Michigan. She completed her undergraduate studies at Michigan State University, where she received her Bachelor's degree in zoology in 2018. She continued as a Spartan and graduated from MSU's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2023 with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
Her professional interests include ophthalmology, soft tissue surgery, pathology, and One Health. With a diverse background of experiences ranging from animal care in Thailand to authoring and publishing scientific research articles, Dr. Langfeldt strives to continuously improve her knowledge and skills to ensure her patients receive the best care. She is Fear-Free certified and strives to practice medicine in a collaborative and low-stress manner for her patients, clients, and team.
In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing, music production, and relaxing with a good book and cup of tea. She is excited for her career in the veterinary profession and thrilled to be part of the Advanced PetCare of Oakland team!
Dr. Audrey Karagosian joined our team as an associate in 2018. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at Michigan State University (Go Green!) in 2010 and then went on to veterinary school at the world-wide accredited University of Glasgow. This brought her many opportunities to travel across Europe and Morocco.
She is married with two children and has two rescue dogs, Walter and Winston. In Dr. Karagosian's spare time, she enjoys traveling, snowboarding, biking and spending time with her wild family. She has experience in veterinary care in the USA, Morocco, Wales, England and Scotland. She has a strong interest in surgery, wound care, internal medicine and client education. She is a member of the AVMA, MVMA and is a certified AAFP cat-friendly practitioner.

Dr. Sheldon, whose special interests include internal medicine, client education, orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, exotics, and abdominal ultrasound, has been a part of our team since 2012. She earned her degree from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and practiced at a small animal clinic in Warren, MI for 7 years before joining the Advanced PetCare of Oakland team. She is an active member of MVMA, AVMA, and SEMVMA. Dr. Sheldon lives with her husband Jason, three children, two dogs, and cat. When she isn't working, she may be found spending time with her family, reading, and watching movies.

Kate is a Licensed Veterinary Technician, with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from Michigan State University with an emphasis in animal behavior. She has been a Licensed Veterinary Technician for over twenty years who has a special interest in behavior, ultrasound, client education, and patient care. She is fear free certified in specialized handling techniques to ensure every patient has a positive experience. Her true passion is being a certified bereavement counselor which allows her to help clients during their hardest season. Her family consists of her husband, two daughters, a cat and two yellow labs.
Dr. Waters joined our team as an associate veterinarian in July 2014. She earned her degree in 2004 from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Her veterinary interests are in dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and internal medicine. As a member of AVMA, MVMA, SEMVMA, and VIN, Dr. Waters is continually pursuing ongoing education by attending local and regional conferences each year. She chose her career path because of a lifelong interest in science, medicine, and her family pets, and she enjoys working with a team of talented and caring individuals who are passionate about practicing quality medicine. Even more so, she loves getting to know people and their pets, and helping to promote the importance of the family animals. Dr. Waters makes her home with her husband Michael, her two sons, and their new puppy, Bob. When she isn't working, Dr. Waters enjoys traveling, photography, and spending time with her family and friends.
