Amy Parker - Chief Legal Officer, VP

Amy has been practicing law for the past 20 years concentrating her practice in Construction litigation and employment law. These two practice areas made Amy a great fit for our company as General Counsel and Director of Human Resources. Amy graduated from URI with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and received her JD from Roger Williams University. She worked in Boston following law school before returning home to Rhode Island where she practiced at a large insurance defense firm for 9 years and thereafter opened her own law firm in 2009. Amy is a member of Rhode Island, Massachusetts and New York Bars.

Donald Gaunt - CFO

Don Gaunt joined AGI in October 2012 as our Chief Financial Officer. In this role, Don oversees all of AGI's financial operations and has an integral role in the business strategy and development of the organization. Prior to joining AGI, Don worked for the Department of Emergency Medicine at Brown University and the University Emergency Medicine Foundation for 5 years where he held managerial positions in the finance, research, and information systems departments. Don Gaunt is a graduate of the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University and is a Six Sigma Black Belt. In his free time, Don enjoys golf, skiing, and is a published clinical researcher.

Mark Albert - CEO, President

Mark is the President/CEO and is the backbone of AGI Construction. Under his leadership AGI has grown from a small Rhode Island family owned utility construction company to a mid-size, 250+ employee, regional (RI, MA, NY) gas utility company. Mark has guided AGI through the rapid expansion in the natural gas industry and through his vision has helped to create processes both internally and in the field that make AGI the best in the industry. Mark continuously strives to improve every aspect of the way we work and to ensure that we deliver the best services we can provide to our customers. This includes the concept and development of proprietary software that streamlines our billing, the creation of a much needed gas distribution training/apprenticeship program, and a very detailed damage prevention process that he created and initiated, which is now referenced as an industry best practice. Mark is a member of the New England Gas Association (NGA) and serves on their Board of Directors. He is a Director at Large of the Distribution Contractors Association (DCA) and serves on their Government Relations committee. Mark is a member of the National Utility Contractors Association of Rhode Island (NUCARI) and he is on the Board of Directors of Four Corners Construction. Mark was born in Maine, grew up in Rhode Island and studied Business at Rhode Island College and Engineering at the University of Rhode Island. In addition to his business pursuits, Mark has always been committed to giving back to the community. He is a generous supporter and on the Board of Governors of the Boys & Girls Club of Providence. He also supports the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, A Wish Come True, the Metropolitan Regional Career and Technical Center and numerous youth sports organizations. In his free time, Mark enjoys boating, traveling, flying and spending time with his family.

Michael Smith - COO

Mike Smith joined AGI in May of 2016 as our Chief Operating Officer. In this role, he oversees all of AGI's operations. Mike also has an integral role in the business strategy and development of the organization. Mike has 32 years' experience in the natural gas industry working in gas operations as well as Employee and Labor Relations. He has worked for Boston Gas, KeySpan, National Grid and most recently with EverSource Energy as the Director of Gas Construction for both Massachusetts and Connecticut. Mike was involved with Process Improvement Teams within all of these organizations and was also an instructor at Northeast Gas Association's gas school. Mike has a Business degree from Eastern Nazarene College and Certificates from the University of Michigan and Harvard University in Employee and Labor Relations.
