AUTISM HOUSING DEVELOPMENT

The Autism Housing Development Corporation (AHDC) was founded in 2011 to develop affordable housing for adults on the autism spectrum in an environment that includes supportive services and community interaction. Our vision is to see communities everywhere welcoming those on the autism spectrum and support them living productive, independent lives. We believe that individuals on the autism spectrum can be valued, independent and contributing members of their communities. The inclusion of individuals on the autism spectrum in the community enriches the lives of everyone by creating an environment of cooperation and tolerance... Our mission is to provide affordable housing for both adults on the autism spectrum and those without disabilities in a community with supportive services for work and life skills... We also provide consulting services to other groups and organizations interesting in housing development.
