Carter Andress - Chairman, President

Carter Andress, Chairman, President & Principal Owner, is one of the original Company founders-present at AISG's start-up in Baghdad in March 2004. After a year break in service, he returned to take over the Company in November 2006. Carter led the AISG team operations that won and successfully executed over 75 US & Iraqi government contracts representing more than $250 million in Iraq reconstruction work. He established Company operations in Kabul, Afghanistan in November 2008. Prior to AISG, Carter ran his own international trade and business consulting firm for fifteen years in the former Soviet Union and nationwide in the United States. As CEO and principal, he took a company public through the US Securities and Exchange Commission. He is a former US Army Infantry officer and graduate of Ranger School (Airborne). Carter has a BA from the University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee, and an MA from American University in Washington, DC. He is the author of Contractor Combatants (Nelson Current, 2007). Carter is fluent in Russian and conversational in Iraqi Arabic. Christopher C.E. "Kiffer" Andress, Chief Executive Officer, & Member, Board of Directors, joined the Company in January 2008, serving as Chief Operations Officer prior to becoming CEO. He is responsible for successful contract execution of more than $250 million in building, logistics, and operations & maintenance projects throughout Iraq and Afghanistan: from bidding, engineering and construction to supply chain and site management. Kiffer has over 20 years operational experience managing fixed priced services contracts in complex and dynamic environments. Prior to joining AISG, he grew a services business from $25 million to $225 million in 3 years while maintaining high client satisfaction ratings and profitability goals. Kiffer designed, implemented, and managed operational processes with supporting technology to manage three lines of business across the Americas with teams in six countries. Previously, he developed and executed a business plan to drive re-investment in a startup company; saved the company from bankruptcy and cleared all debt in full. Kiffer has a BS in Computer Engineering from Auburn University, in Auburn, Alabama.

Frank Guffey - COO

Frank Guffey, Chief Operating Officer, started with the Company in August 2011. Prior to joining AISG, Frank was country manager for Bertling Logistics in Iraq. He has over 20 years of international experience working throughout Asia, Mexico, Europe, and the Middle East. Frank has managed logistics and transportation for oil & gas companies servicing Eagle Ford, Texas supporting key customers Schlumberger, Halliburton, and Weatherford. His supply chain operations also involved cross-border trade for the automotive industry. Frank has worked in the Middle East beginning in 2003, undertaking extended tours in the Afghanistan and Iraq war zones. He possesses extensive expertise in global logistics, providing door-to-door services in high-threat and challenging environments, executing contracts with urgent requirements for KBR, DynCorp, and EGL-CEVA Logistics. Frank has worked closely with the oil industry in Iraq, supplying projects for Exxon, Shell, and their EPCs such as Halliburton and Fluor. In Afghanistan, under his direction, AISG completed construction projects including a high school, two medical clinics, and four police stations in Helmand Province, and a police HQ close by the border with Waziristan, Pakistan. Frank served as a Recon Marine, 4th Recon Battalion (USMC) with undergraduate studies at the University of Texas and graduate studies at St. Mary's University, both in San Antonio, Texas.

Robert K. "Bob" Kelley

Robert K. "Bob" Kelley, Esq., Member, Board of Directors, & AISG Washington, DC Representative/Business Development, since March 2009. He has over 30 years of experience in Washington, DC, and overseas with the US State and Defense Departments, the US Senate and House of Representatives, and in the private sector. After service as a US Army Infantry officer in Germany, Bob entered the US State Department Foreign Service, serving in Germany. In the US Senate, he served as Counsel to the US Senate Intelligence Committee, Chief of Staff to Senator Charles Mathias, (R. MD), and Deputy US Senate Legal Counsel. In between these assignments, Bob served in the US State Department as Deputy to the President's Representative for Nuclear Nonproliferation. In the private sector, he represented the Japan Automobile Manufacturers Association, the City of Frankfurt, and the President of Mozambique, among others. In 2003-2005, Bob served in Baghdad, Iraq, first with the US Defense Department and then in the US Embassy, as Counselor, organizing US Congressional Delegations' visits to Iraq. In 2006, Kelley was Chief Counsel to the National Security Subcommittee of the US House of Representatives. Bob is a Member of the Bar of the District of Columbia. He has a BA in History from the University of Notre Dame, South Bend, Indiana, and a JD and an MA in Political Science from the University of California, in Berkeley, California.

Tony Montana

Tony Montana, Senior Vice President of Security, has been with the Company since November 2004. He is a highly experienced combat veteran who has led & trained thousands of Iraqi, American, Kurdish, Afghan and other security personnel operating in high-threat areas throughout the greater Middle East, Central Asia and globally. Tony is a master practitioner of counter-terrorism tactics, who was security manager for the US embassy in Beirut for more than four years during the Lebanese civil war (1983-88). He has served as a combat engineer (sapper) with the US Army 10th Mountain Division. Tony was security manager and bodyguard for a former Prime Minister of Lebanon. He served as a US military intelligence certified voice interceptor and Arabic linguist for all dialects including Iraqi, Syrian, & Egyptian and has held a top-secret security clearance. Tony earned a BA from Oriental College of Beirut, Lebanon. He is also fluent in French.
