Anna Bailey

Anna Bailey is the Practice Leader for akaCRM's Education Services Practice and serves as an Engagement Manager for key akaCRM clients. Anna comes from a family of educators and completed a degree in teaching. Though she never became a teacher, she followed her interests into the field of higher education. Working as support staff in a student success role and coaching student employees, Anna focused her passion for education as transformation and began to understand how crucial process improvements, particularly leveraging technology could improve the work environment and provide better student experience. Through staff retirements and reorganization, Anna worked as a transfer advisor and then an assistant director (operations), she also became a member of a cross divisional team of Lean practitioners who worked on cross-departmental and cross-divisional projects. The Lean Team worked through process improvements across the university and Anna developed as a facilitator and became passionate about bringing people together and creating space where transformation begins. When Salesforce was identified as a student success strategic project, Anna jumped in as the student success operations manager and acted as primary business analyst and liaison during this inaugural project. Witnessing the transformation in collaboration and process improvement was enough to get Anna hooked. She followed Salesforce into a newly created role in IT to support the project and to bring the tool into more areas of the institution. The next three years were action packed adventures with collaboratively developing Salesforce platform tools for peer support, the career center, and the advancement development team. Anna's favorite part of this work was to be able to help provide solutions to improve efficiencies, see new projects come together, and most importantly, to support people doing really great work. Working with teams looking for process improvement is Anna's joy, with Salesforce as her tool of preference, she looks forward to partnering to build new paths into the future.

Binh Do

Binh Do is the akaCRM Practice Leader for Applications and also a Senior Salesforce Developer. Binh has 25+ years of IT experience that covers a wide range of technologies and industries. His CRM work covers broad industries including government, healthcare, pharmaceutical, information technologies, telecommunications, call centers, banking, sales and service. Binh has built solutions on Salesforce, Amazon's AWS, and Google's GCP. He has developed hybrid mobile applications for iOS and Android. His work includes interactions with technical teams, business organizations and executives. Binh's understanding and background with technologies make him a valuable asset in helping akaCRM clients improve their results.

Brent Mellow - CEO, President

Brent Mellow is President & CEO of akaCRM and brings over 30 years of experience in sales, marketing, partner management, business finance and infrastructure to akaCRM. In 2019, Brent was named as a Partner Trailblazer by Salesforce and in 2020 he was appointed to the Salesforce.org Partner Advisory Board and became a Customer Experience (CX) Ambassador for Salesforce. Brent completed his initial Salesforce partner training in 2003 after having been a customer of Salesforce for the two prior years. Prior to akaCRM, Brent was a founder of Astadia (and its predecessor MW Advisors), where he helped lead the company's rapid expansion in the U.S., Europe, and Asia to achieve standing as the largest system integrator for a number of SaaS-based vendors including Salesforce, Eloqua and Xactly. While at Astadia, Brent served as its President-US, Chief Marketing Officer and had oversight for the product development, IT, and legal functions. Previously, Brent was hired by CompUSA to spin off its multi-national Call Center Services outsourcing division. As a result of this successful engagement, Brent became VP/Chief Administrative Officer of the spin off, The Telvista Company, where he deployed Salesforce as the company's CRM system and later became its VP of Sales & Marketing. The company grew globally to over $100 million with operations in the U.S. and Latin America. Brent began his career in the financial services industry where he spent over a decade with a variety of commercial and investment banks and had roles including Senior Vice President and Managing Director in Bank of America's Global Corporate and Investment Banking Group. Brent participated in the consolidation of the banking industry where he served on numerous merger and acquisition due diligence and integration teams and was an advocate for various customer relationship management (CRM) system deployments. Through his banking career, Brent had the opportunity to interact with senior executives of some of the most well-known companies in America and observe hundreds of businesses of all sizes across a wide variety of industries. Brent has been a featured presenter and panelist for Salesforce (Dreamforce), Guidepoint, UBS, Verified First, the Call Center Networking Group, and the Southwest Venture Forum. In his spare time, Brent is a volunteer leader for the Boy Scouts of America where he currently serves as an Eagle Scout Advisor and was previously a Scoutmaster and member of the Council Executive Board. Brent also enjoys fly fishing, hiking, and camping. Brent resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is happily married, and has three wonderful children.

Ellen Scully

Ellen Scully is Vice President, Professional Services for akaCRM, and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations associated with akaCRM's Salesforce and Conga professional services offerings. Ellen is dedicated to providing a white glove experience for akaCRM client needs. Ellen combines her love of puzzle solving and experience with best practices within the agile Salesforce configuration platform to create practical results in client deployments. Ellen began her career with the Salesforce application by successfully completing training in 2003 to become the Salesforce administrator for a private destination club. She subsequently held a variety of professional positions including Marketing Manager, Salesforce Administrator and Salesforce Consultant. Ellen successfully applies her knowledge of Salesforce for companies in a wide range of industries including energy (wind, solar, and oil), waste and recycling, insurance, timeshare, and financial services. Her goals are to customize the user experience to help gain buy-in, better define user reporting, and to improve systems to maintain processes that will enhance business success.

Joe Sheets

Joe Sheets is an akaCRM Client Manager with more than 20 years of experience providing products, solutions, and services to businesses and schools, using a consultative, problem solving approach. Joe also serves as akaCRM's focus leader for K-12. As an account manager and consultant, Joe has had the opportunity to work with many different organizations including small and mid-size businesses, schools, medical facilities, and multi-national corporations. Whatever the business type, he brings a passion for helping them improve their processes, exceed past results, and stay ahead of their competition. Joe is a Certified Salesforce Administrator and a Trailhead Ranger.

Karen Stock

Karen brings over 25 years of consulting and industry experience delivering technology solutions to her clients. Prior to joining akaCRM, Karen managed Salesforce implementations for key clients of Astadia and its predecessor MW Advisors. Karen began her career in the human resource industry at Hewitt Associates (now Aon) where she was responsible for managing key client relationships, strategic healthcare benefits design, system design/development, communication, training and overall delivery of healthcare and group benefits administration technology services.

Lisa Ruman

Lisa Ruman is a Human Resources Leader and Strategic Business Partner in the recruitment, staff management and HR administration within akaCRM. With 10+ years of human capital experience, Lisa has led the recruiting team for a $100M non-profit and served as the Director of HR for a healthcare facility. Lisa has worked in a variety of industries including retail, logistics and emergency services. Her focus has been on recruiting, employee development, law compliance and HR strategy. Lisa graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Resources.

Stephanie Leith

Stephanie Leith is akaCRM's Fundraising Practice Leader, helping nonprofits and college advancement departments with their fundraising needs. Stephanie also serves as an Engagement Manager for key akaCRM clients. Stephanie is 4x Salesforce Certified and serves on the Salesforce.org Partner Advisory board. Stephanie enjoys identifying client pain points and leveraging Salesforce to implement effective solutions. Stephanie joined the Salesforce ecosystem in 2013 while working for a Kansas City-based nonprofit, where she led Salesforce implementations and provided ongoing Salesforce support for 30+ nonprofit clients. Over the years, Stephanie has enjoyed numerous opportunities to help nonprofits implement Salesforce and see them realize the impact Salesforce can have on their mission. In addition to leading akaCRM's nonprofit clients, she also supports select clients in other industries.

Sue Ridgeway

Susan Morris Mellow - Chief Legal Officer

Susan Morris Mellow has more than twenty-five years of experience representing individuals and business organizations, with exposure to multiple areas of law. After graduating from SMU School of Law in 1994, Susan joined the law firm of Godwin & Carlton, P.C. in Dallas, Texas where she worked with corporate clients in matters of securities law, contracts, tax-advised structures, bankruptcy, and with individuals in estate and tax planning matters. Susan later formed her own law practice representing individuals and small businesses in Texas. In 2014, Susan joined Colorado-based akaCRM Inc. as its General Counsel, representing the firm in a wide range of matters including employment and contract matters. In 2018, Susan formed Mellow Law PLLC where she provides trust and estate planning service and corporate transactional work.
