Aker Kasten Eye Center was founded on a love for ophthalmology and a passion for improving lives. Dr. Alan Aker and Dr. Ann Kasten met at Cornell University's North Shore University Hospital, where their shared medical expertise and dedication sparked both a professional and personal partnership... Our facility is thoughtfully designed to provide seamless, patient-centered care. The first floor is dedicated to medical and diagnostic ophthalmology, equipped with the latest technology to evaluate and manage a wide range of eye conditions. On the second floor, our Medicare-certified Ambulatory Surgery Center is fully devoted to laser cataract surgery and other advanced surgical treatments for eye diseases.
