Dr. Adams Johnson - CEO, President

Thelma Adams Johnson has served as the President/CEO of Albany Community Together, Inc. (ACT!) since 2002. Under her leadership, ACT! has provided access to $7.6 million in capital, leveraged $21.4 million in private capital to over 175 businesses, assisted in creating and/or retaining 730 jobs, and provided business development training and technical assistance to over 1200 businesses and continues to increase these matrixes daily. She is a member of the African-American Alliance of CDFIs CEOs, the only organization that leverages African American CDFI CEOs' decades of expertise, relationships, and intellectual capital to change the odds and the outcomes for African Americans in underserved communities across America. She has presented at conferences all over the nation, sharing her expertise and helping to develop the CDFI ecosystem. Prior to joining ACT!, Dr. Adams Johnson served as a Regional Resource Coordinator for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs, where she provided technical assistance in the area of community and economic development to local governments. She has served as the City of Albany Economic Development Specialist and is a certified Economic Development Finance Specialist through the National Development Council. Dr. Adams Johnson has a BS in Accounting from Albany State University, an MBA from the University of Phoenix, and a DBA from Northcentral University. She is an adjunct professor at Albany State University in the College of Business, Board Chair of Downtown Development Authority for the City of Albany, board member of Dougherty County Family Literacy, and serves on the board of Georgia Micro Enterprise Network (GMEN). Dr. Adams Johnson has been named a Southwest Georgia 40 under 40 honoree, as well as one of Georgia's Small Business Administration Financial Champions of the Year. She has over 20 years of experience in nonprofit management and economic development. In 2018, SunTrust Foundation recognized Dr. Adams Johnson with a "Lighting the Way" award, for tireless work and efforts that meet the needs of the community.

J. Trent Williams

Trent is Regional Vice-President of Sales / Lending with Georgia's Own credit union. Prior to Georgia's Own, Trent served as Vice-President of Lending with DOCO Credit Union. Trent also served as Vice President of Commercial Lending for Renasant and Heritage Bank of the South. Trent has over 30 years banking experience in the areas of Retail, Commercial, Compliance, and Mortgage banking. Trent has an MBA from Albany State University. Trent has received his CEO certification from Wharton Executive Education, University of Pennsylvania; Cornell University, Johnson Graduate School of Management and UVA, Darden Executive Graduate School. He is a native of Camilla Georgia and graduated from Mitchell-Baker High School.

Jennifer Wilson

Jennifer serves as a branch manager with Ameris Bank. She is 1998 honor graduate of Lee County High School. After graduation, she attended Albany State University and graduated magna cum laude in 2003 with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Management. During her time in college, she interned at Bank of America, later she was employed by Bank of America as a teller, and advanced to become a Branch Manager. She was with Bank of America for 13 years and in 2015 transitioned to Ameris Bank.

Johnny Hamilton

Johnny Hamilton has served as VP for ACT! lending activities since March 2009. He has over thirty five years of experience managing community and economic development programs and activities, as well as grants management. Those programs include housing development, business incubator development and operation, job training and economic development lending. He has also served as a technical assistance provider for small business owners. As manager and interim director of the City of Albany's Department of Community and Economic Development, he was responsible for administering various program funds in excess of $80,000,000 received by the City for disaster relief in 1995. During his tenure with the City of Albany, he also managed lending activities designed to provide first-time home buyer opportunities as well as economic development lending programs for small and disadvantaged businesses. He has a BS degree in Business Administration from Morehouse College.

Lou Easter Hardy

Lou Easter Hardy has over 30+ years of experience as a Banking Officer/ Manager in the Banking arena. She received her Associates Degree in Business Administration from Troy University, and a Certificate in Business Administration from Meadows Business College. She is currently employed with the Dougherty County School System (DCSS), as a Parent Coordinator at Albany Middle School and serves on the board for DCSS Local School Governance Team. She also is a board member of the Albany Civil Rights Institute.

M. Scott Tomlinson - CEO, Chairman, President

Scott is Founding President CEO of Flint Community Bank with a BBA in Management from Valdosta State University. Prior to Flint Community Bank, Scott served as Executive Vice-President of Security Bank and Trust. Scott has over 35 years in community banking. He is the immediate past Chairman of the Albany Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Board of Directors and the former Chairman of the Community Bankers Association of Georgia.

TODD FOWLER

Todd Fowler, is responsible for accounting and financial management for ACT! He is the in-house CPA for Florida Housing. Todd has a BS in Economics and a Masters in Accountancy from University of Georgia. He has held various positions in both public and private accounting, including management of the City of Albany's Community Development Block Grant Programs and operation of special loan funds for victims of the local flood of 1994.

TONITA MCKNIGHT

She is now responsible for working directly with potential clients, existing clients, other businesses, partner organizations and stake holders to secure client referrals and acquire loan customers.
