David Nix

David is a veteran of the telecom and wireless industries. Since 1988, he has participated in developing many leading edge communication technologies, including one of the world's first deployed ATM switching systems at NEC, one of the earliest deployed microcell systems at Motorola, and one of the first commercial network processors at Agere Systems. He also worked on AT&T's Project Angel, which sought to provide local phone service through beam steered wireless. David has been with Alereon since 2004, formerly serving as Director of Software Development. He received a B.S. in Computer Science from Abilene Christian University in 1986.

Dr. David Shoemaker - CEO

David has provided leadership for multiple start-ups and large companies, shipping over $100 million in revenue during his career. After joining Alereon 2006, he oversaw the company's engineering and manufacturing before becoming CEO. He has more than a decade of industry expertise designing RF, analog, ASIC, software, and system solutions. Prior to joining Alereon, Dr. Shoemaker acted both as a manager and developer in all phases of design for companies such as TZero, RF Micro Devices, Engim and Texas Instruments. Dr. Shoemaker holds B.S and M.S degrees from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he later earned his PhD.

Gregg Mack

Gregg's career includes thirty years as a circuit board designer and eighteen years managing hardware development teams. He helped bring up and validate a number of iconic industry designs, including the 68000, 88000, and PowerPC processors at Motorola, the StrongARM at DEC, and the X-scale processor at Intel. After joining Alereon in 2005, Gregg took over as manager and lead designer of circuit boards that host Alereon chips and an array of third-party silicon. He has designed over 200 boards during his tenure at Alereon, most of which feature complex RF circuitry. Gregg received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Texas in 1986.

Parmveer Singh

Parmveer has been involved with leading edge technology in the telecom industry since 1999, including development of high speed/low latency digital cross-connects and system engineering, deployment, and support for some of the world's first commercial high bandwidth network processors at start-up Agere Systems. Since joining Alereon in 2006, Parmveer has led all system disciplines including RF characterization, system level testing, customer engagements, on-site customer support, proof-of-concept demos, end-user product deliverables, and manufacturing support. Parmveer received a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1999.
