Dan Glei is the Executive Vice President of Merchandising and Marketing for KVAT Food Stores Inc. that operates nearly 140 Food City stores. He has extensive retail grocery, e-commerce and consumer package goods experience.
Prior to joining KVAT Dan developed the initial ecommerce click and collect platform while at Ahold for Peapod. In addition, he has held senior roles in Merchandising, Brand, Format and Strategy for Ahold USA. Throughout his career he has worked in Category Management where he implemented best practices for CPGs and Retailers.
Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Marketing from Michigan State University. He also has completed executive education at Harvard Business School and Cornell University. In addition, he currently serves as the Co-Chair of Topco's Operations Committee.

Joe Hayes, recently retired attorney and former Senior Partner of the law firm of Stevens & Hayes, who enjoyed a tenure as one of Coldwater, Michigan's prominent attorneys. He has served on the Board of Directors of Alliance Foods, Inc. since 1991.
Joe obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Western Michigan University (1975) and graduated with his Juris Doctor from Wayne State University (1978). He was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 1978. Joe is the former Chief Assistant Prosecuting Attorney for Branch County, Michigan (for 3 years), and thereafter practiced law in the private sector for 36 years; his legal specialties included business law, real estate law, hospital law, civil litigation and criminal law.
Joe is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, Past-President of the Branch County Bar Association, a member and Past-President of the Coldwater Rotary Club, a Past-President of the Coldwater Little League, and a Past-President of the Coldwater Country Club. Joe has also served on the Board of Directors of various community organizations in the Coldwater area. He has been actively involved in youth sports to include coaching youth baseball, basketball and football teams, and serving as the assistant coach for Coldwater High School's JV and Varsity girls basketball teams. Joe spends his fall Friday nights as the clock/scoreboard operator for the Coldwater High School varsity football team.
Being retired, Joe also now has more time to enjoy golfing, pickleball, boating, biking, and traveling, and especially enjoys spending more time with his wife (Kathy) and their 3 sons and 6 grandchildren.

John Likens, who joined the Alliance Foods, Inc. Board of Directors in 2017, is Senior Vice President at Associated Wholesale Grocers.
John brings a depth of supermarket industry experience and expertise to the Board, including over 15 years in senior executive positions with Save-A-Lot Food Stores, where he managed everything from merchandising and procurement to retail operations to distribution. Prior to Save-A-Lot, John spent 10 years in management positions at SUPERVALU as vice president of logistics and merchandising, as well as general manager at various distribution centers in the Midwest and Southeast. He's also held positions at Scrivner, Inc., Wetterau Foods and Schnucks Markets.
After receiving his Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and Management at Southeast Missouri State University, John also studied at The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern University.
Away from the office, John loves to travel with his wife Kathy, play the occasional bad round of golf (according to John), and spend time with his three adult children, who are his favorite hobby.
