Allen M. Lawrence, CIC, Chief Executive Officer of Allen Lawrence & Associates, LLC, a major California insurance brokerage firm has long been combining his insurance expertise with public service. Allen is also an Agency Partner of Acrisure, a top-10 global insurance broker and fintech financial services provider.
In 1982 the Governor appointed him to the California Health Facilities Commission. He served as Vice Chair from 1983 to 1985 and as Chair of the Public Liaison Committee. In 1992 the Insurance Commissioner recognized Allen for distinguished service on the Commissioner's Consumer Complaints Unfair Practices Task Force.
January 2000, the Governor appointed Allen to serve on the California Transportation Commission. In 2001, he was elected to serve as Chairman of the California Transportation Commission. The Governor reappointed him in March 2002 as a member of the California Transportation Commission where he served for four more years.
Today, Allen serves as Chairman Emeritus of the Board of Val*Pac, the San Fernando Valley Business Political Action Committee. Previously, he served as their chairman from 1992 to 2007. Since 2003, Allen has served on the Board of Trustees of the California Truckers' Safety Association and is a member of The California Trucking Association. He is also serving on the Board of Directors of 5 Star Theatricals and the Board of Directors of the Malibu Bay Club.
Allen is a member of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers and earned his CIC designation from The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. He also proudly served from 2001 - 2011 on the California Department of Insurance Agents and Brokers Advisory Committee.
Allen also served as a National Commissioner, a Member of the National Executive Committee, and the Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League and on the Board of the Boys & Girls Club of the West Valley where he was honored to receive their Champion of Youth Award.

George E. Martini, CIC, President & COO of Allen Lawrence & Associates, LLC has been with the company since 1977. The company's revenues have grown exponentially since he became President. As well, George has been involved in a number of acquisitions for the company.
He is responsible for running the organization and all departments are required to report directly to him. Although producing business is done by AL&A's sales team, George has been known to visit current and prospective clients.
"Our sales group is very talented at offering focused risk assessment to our clients, so they can understand the financial exposures they face," says George. "I believe that all of us are extremely focused on our clients."
More than four decades ago, George started his insurance career literally in the mailroom at Allstate Insurance Company. Later he honed his impressive professional skills as an Insurance Broker at Rodgers & Cummings Insurance Brokers when he secured the national Burger King account for the agency.
George is currently a member of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers and earned his CIC designation from The Society of Certified Insurance Counselors. In September 2002, the Governor appointed him to the California Earthquake Authority Panel. Additionally, George is a member of California Trucking Association.
George, an avid fisherman - whose favorite fishing hole is Cabo San Lucas, Mexico - and golfer, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of South Florida.

An insurance professional specializing in Property, Transportation, Contractors and Manufacturing Risks, Stewart J. Kops has been with Allen Lawrence & Associates, LLC since 1984.

Between 1982 - 1984 Stewart was a Sales Representative for the Auto Club of Southern California. Today Stewart is Executive Vice President and Partner of Allen Lawrence & Associates, LLC He oversees sales, the company's sales managers and runs the telemarketing department. Stewart is a member of The Council of Insurance Agents & Brokers and a member of California Trucking Association.
"My clients trust that I will find them the best value in the marketplace and they rely on my expertise and judgment," says Stewart when asked what his clients say about him. "I'm a very good listener. Once I determine what the problem is, I help solve it," he adds.
Insurance aside, Stewart has an interesting pro basketball background having played forward in the European Basketball League where he gave such notable players as Swen Nater, Greg Myers and ML Carr a run for their money. During his last year of undergraduate work, Stewart worked for the Secretary of the Interior studying the effect of off-shore drilling in the state of California. His reports were reviewed by the Secretary of the Interior and Vice President, Nelson Rockefeller. Stewart has a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of California Riverside and a Juris Doctorate from Western State University in Fullerton.
