The initial thrust of sales for Almont Industrial Materials Ltd. was standard products from manufacturers, particularly in shelving, racking and related material handling products. Today we maintain equilibrium between standard products and custom products along with a concerted effort for major project business, which entails consulting, and implementing all facets of office and warehouse design and integration to the customer's materials requirements with our expert specialized sales and installation teams... The initial operation consisted of a 3,000 square foot warehouse, and three employees. By 1985, the Company had grown to 5,500 square feet and six employees. Today, there are 15,000 square feet of space in the main warehouse and a large outdoor compound along with a staff of 20 full-time and many part-time employees.
