Al Shahania Stud was established in the 1980's. The original stud is based in the heart of Qatar, the land of the Arabian horses and fore founders of the thoroughbreds. The prestigious stud property in Qatar is an oasis in the desert, irrigated solely with ground water. It accommodates over 200 horses in luxurious stables who benefit from daily turn out in the lush green pastures. Furthermore, a beautiful office accommodates the Qatar based breeding, showing and racing headquarters, who coordinate the Al Shahania Stud global bloodstock operations. The stud has also recently invested in a second property based in the world renowned breeding lands of Normandy, France.
