Established in 1979, by first-generation entrepreneur Late Mr Pramod Kumar, Amba International is today one of the largest production centres for hand-spun and handwoven silk fabrics... We began to export our wide variety of products to high-end global customers - based in the US, Europe, Canada, Japan and Australia for home furnishings and high fashion garment industry. In the year 1992, we also started exporting to South Africa. With our ongoing efforts in maintaining the highest quality products that are woven with the thickest of customer relationship and trust, we received the Export Merit Award from the Government of India too... At Amba, care is deep-rooted in our mission. We endeavor to do what it takes to revive the art of hand-weaving and celebrate it like it once was and bring it back to everyday lives.
