Bemnet Zewdie

Bemnet is an Associate at Amity focused on executing deals, supporting Amity portfolio companies, and reviewing potential investments. Prior to Amity, Bemnet was an Equity Research associate at Morgan Stanley covering enterprise software. He was responsible for covering companies like Workday, Asana, Smartsheet, and DocuSign, among other names. Bemnet started his career in the investment banking division of Morgan Stanley specializing in Leveraged Finance. Bemnet graduated from Boston College with a Dean's Letter of Commendation with a degree in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Christina Dong

Christina supports the Amity team across administration, communications, and marketing initiatives. Prior to Amity, she held recruiting and corporate communications roles at Adaptive Insights, now known as Workday Adaptive Planning. Christina holds a B.A. in English from Colby College and has a background in journalism and English literature. She has written for Stanford University News Service, Palo Alto Weekly, and Gentry Magazine.

CJ Reim - CEO

With over a decade of experience in the digital asset ecosystem, CJ has been at the forefront of blockchain technology. He is an Initial Contributor to Core DAO, an investor in multiple leading crypto exchanges, and was a participant in the original Genesis Block of Ethereum.

Jason Wong - CFO

Jason is Amity's Director of Finance & Operations, where he oversees all financial reporting to investors, budgeting, cash management, and ensures compliance with the various partnership agreements. Prior to Amity, Jason was the VP of Finance and Fund Operations at FundersClub and a Tax Manager at Frank, Rimerman + Co. LLP working with technology start-ups, venture capital firms, and entrepreneurs. Jason holds a B.S. in Economics from the University of California, Santa Cruz. He is a CPA licensed in the state of California.

Kieran Dennis

After a joining Amity Ventures as a Summer Intern in 2021, Kieran joined full time as an Analyst in June 2022. During his internship, Kieran developed a thesis on the future of decentralized organizations. In addition to his thesis, he supported the team on a variety of projects focused on market research and financial analysis. Kieran graduated from Boston College with a B.A. in Philosophy and a minor in Finance in May 2022.

Matt Bocci

Matt joined Amity in 2021 as an investor focusing on early-stage investment across a wide range of sectors. Before he was an investor, Matt spent nearly a decade in various business and corporate development roles at early and growth stage tech companies, Uber, Gopuff and Atom Finance, and started his career as an investment banking analyst. Matt earned a BA degree from Columbia University where he was a member of the varsity football team.

Patrick Yang

Patrick co-founded Amity in 2016 looking to partner with exceptional founders building iconic technology companies at the early stages. Believing in the power of automation as the world's true deflationary force, Patrick dedicates his time and expertise to helping entrepreneurs build impactful technologies and scale their businesses. He currently serves on the company boards of Arketa, ControlRooms, Evisort, Factored Quality, Mayfair, and Usage AI and manages the firm's investment in CaptivateIQ. He has worked in tandem with his co-founder, CJ Reim, for almost a decade. Prior to Amity, Patrick was a Vice President at Highland Capital Partners. Patrick started his career at Morgan Stanley in their Menlo Park technology investment banking group. Patrick earned a B.S. in Business Administration with a concentration in Engineering Leadership from University of California, Berkeley.

Peter Bell

Peter Bell joined Amity in 2018 and focuses his energy and expertise on partnering with entrepreneurs to build companies of consequence. He currently represents Amity on the boards of Edge Delta, Vowel, and Accelevents and manages the firm's investments in Column, Playco, Qumulo, Socure and Snyk. His efforts as an entrepreneur and early stage investor over the past two decades have resulted in investor liquidity of in excess of $8 Billion including but not limited to investments in Gigamon (IPO on NYSE), LevelUp (acquired by Grubhub), Turbonomic (acquired by IBM), WePay (acquired by JPMorgan Chase). Peter began his career at Price Waterhouse in Boston. In late 1986, he sensed the opportunities arising in the information age of enterprise computing and joined an exciting young company in Natick, Massachusetts, EMC Corporation which was later acquired by Dell in September 2016 for $67 Billion. In 1998, Peter embarked on his own entrepreneurial journey and co-founded StorageNetworks, a pioneer in cloud computing that led as its CEO and completed an IPO in 2000 before stepping down as CEO in 2003. In 2006, Mr. Bell joined Highland Capital Partners, a global venture capital firm, where he led investments in early-stage technology companies eventually becoming the Managing General Partner of the firm. Peter holds a BS from Boston College, where he served as a University Trustee from 2002-2010 and currently serves as a Trustee Associate, an MBA from Harvard Business School, and an Honorary Doctorate from Babson College.
