Alicia Lewis

Alicia Lewis is the firm administrator and controller for Anderson Jones, PLLC, managing all business and financial aspects of the firm. She has extensive experience in various aspects of law, legal pleadings and research. Prior to forming Anderson Jones, PLLC with Andy Anderson and Todd Jones in 2003, Alicia worked as a paralegal in two mid-sized law firms. She serves as secretary for the American Subcontractors Association of the Carolinas' Triangle chapter, and is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association (NCBA). With the NCBA, Alicia is a member of the Paralegal Division, Law Practice Management & Technology Section and the Construction Law Section, where she serves as the Paralegal Division liaison. Also, Alicia currently serves on the Greater Raleigh Chamber of Commerce Professional Women's Task Force. Her role on this task force helps to further the goal of the Chamber Executive Women's Luncheon series to bring nationally recognized speakers to the Triangle to address the unique challenges women in management face in today's business environment. She is also a member of various trade associations that support the construction industry.

Brice Newbern

Felicia M. Haigh, raised in Cary, North Carolina, graduated from North Carolina State University in Raleigh, N.C. before receiving her Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina School of Law in Chapel Hill, N.C. In law school, she served as an executive board member of the Women in Law group. She also was an Articles Editor for the North Carolina Journal of International Law. After graduation, Felicia spent a year as a clerk to the Full Commission with the North Carolina Industrial Commission. As an attorney at Anderson Jones, PLLC, she focuses on workers' compensation defense and general civil litigation.

Lindsey E. Powell

Lindsey Powell is an attorney with Anderson Jones, PLLC practicing litigation with a focus in construction. In this role, she represent clients - as both plaintiffs and defendants - in various stages of state and federal court litigation. In addition to her litigation practice she also advises clients with transactional matters and represents them in mediations and arbitrations, as creditors in bankruptcy, before professional licensing boards, and government zoning authorities and planning boards. She represents both individuals and corporate clients, and her goal with corporate clients is to provide counsel with regards to all aspects of their businesses, including contract reviews, corporate compliance, and employment issues. Lindsey previously worked with Anderson Jones, PLLC before being admitted to the Georgia State Bar and relocating to Atlanta. She practiced law in Georgia for approximately two years with a focus on real property litigation and zoning and land use law. Having returned to Anderson Jones, PLLC, she now offers her services to clients in both North Carolina and Georgia. A native of Greenville, North Carolina, Lindsey now resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband, a construction engineer. She maintains strong ties to North Carolina and remains actively involved in both professional and industry groups in the state.

Matthew P. Blake

A native North Carolinian, Matt was born in Chapel Hill. He spent his early years in Raleigh, Currituck, and Durham before moving to his hometown of Shelby, North Carolina. He attended Wake Forest University, earning a degree in economics before graduating from the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University. From his studies and work in both the private and public sectors, Matt gained unique insight into business and employment relationships as they are influenced by competition, technology, demographics, finance, and policy. In his workers' compensation defense and employment law practice, Matt draws on his education and experience to analyze and forecast risk while preparing his clients to preempt and mitigate their exposure and protect their interests. Matt began his legal career with a summer internship with the Shelby City Attorney. He worked as an appellate clerk under Judge Donald Smith and then Judge (later Justice) Bob Edmunds. For nearly two decades, he has practiced in the field of workers compensation defense representing private and governmental entities, employers, and insurers before the North Carolina Industrial Commission and our appellate courts. He has litigated and negotiated the resolution of claims involving accidental injuries, occupational diseases, asbestosis and silicosis, death benefits, non-insured employers, and both employee and co-defendant fraud. Matt values his relationships with clients, peers, and the professionals he encounters, and he considers it a privilege to collaborate with them on employment and workers' compensation concerns.

Peyton D. Mansure

Peyton D. Mansure joins the firm after several years of practice in the Greensboro, N.C. area, where he gained extensive civil litigation experience primarily in the areas of commercial and construction litigation. In addition to representing members of the construction industry, Peyton also advocates for a wide-range of clients, including various types of property owners, businesses, creditors, and homeowners' associations in matters involving property disputes, collections, insurance defense, foreclosures, and zoning. Peyton serves as counsel at all levels of trial courts in numerous counties across the State, federal district courts, the North Carolina Court of Appeals, and the North Carolina Supreme Court. Prior to moving to North Carolina in 2006, Peyton worked in the construction industry, gaining experience in the areas of framing, roofing, and masonry in his hometown of St. Petersburg, Florida. Peyton then went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in economics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, graduating summa cum laude, before earning his Juris Doctor from the Elon University School of Law, graduating cum laude. While in law school, Peyton served as the Articles Editor of the Elon Law Review, was a competing member of Elon's mock trial team, and was selected as a Dean's Fellow. Outside of the office, Peyton enjoys playing baseball, golfing, traveling, and trying his hand at various DIY construction and renovation projects.

Todd A. Jones is an attorney and founding partner with Anderson Jones who has extensive experience in construction law and litigation, collections, OSHA defense, contracts, local government and municipal law, administrative law and litigation, real estate, employment law, immigration law, and traffic violations. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and in the District of Columbia, as well as in the federal courts system and before the U.S. Supreme Court. He has handled cases ranging from workers' compensation to personal injury to multi-million-dollar contract disputes. Todd is an active volunteer with the North Carolina Bar Association's Construction Law Section. In 2007, he received the Blanchard Outstanding Young Lawyers Award by the association for his work on law-related education for North Carolina schoolchildren ranging from elementary school to high school. He has served as a member of the Downtown Housing Improvement Corp. (DHIC) for six years and currently serves as the organization's chairman of the board. Additionally, he serves on the Construction Financial Managers Association's National Government Affairs Committee, on the Association of Builders and Contractors' Fayetteville Council and serves as the chair of the Campbell Law Alumni Association Board of Directors. He is also a frequent speaker at association and conference meetings on a national level. Victor A. (Andy) Anderson - Chief Legal Officer

Victor A. (Andy) Anderson, Jr., is of counsel with Anderson Jones and has extensive experience representing owners, municipalities, design professionals, general contractors, subcontractors and suppliers in litigation and transactional matters, collections, lien and bond claims, construction disputes, administrative law, OSHA defense, contracts, licensing and related legal matters. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and before the N.C. Court of Appeals, N.C. Supreme Court, U.S. Federal District Court Eastern, Middle and Western Districts, U.S. Court of Appeals 4 th Circuit, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Andy is a member of the North Carolina Bar Association and Construction and Administrative Law Sections, is a certified Superior Court mediator, a notary public and a former member of the North Carolina Bar Association's Construction Law Council.
