ANCHOR POOLS & SPAS - Key Persons
Antonio Pintor is a 7 year member of the Anchor Pools family. He is an integral part of completing jobs on schedule and correctly. He also takes care of cleaning the site after installation to ensure that the one thing you have left to do is enjoy your new pool. Antonio enjoys being with his family after the work day is done.
J.B. Merritt started Anchor Pools in 1978. He played college football at the University of Tennessee where he met his wife Dionne. He taught school at Wren High School, and while visiting his cousins, he noticed that the next door neighbor was installing a swimming pool. He observed, asked millions of questions, did a lot of research, and decided this was the business he wanted to pursue. He and Dionne started the business while adding three daughters to their family. JB is using his retirement hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. J.B. is the creative force behind our award-winning Gunite pools and fountains.
Jacob Rogers is the head of our service team. He is a hard worker and always ready to get things done. He has been certified by Hayward and Pentair on their equipment. He is very eager to learn more about the pool industry. When Jacob is not at work, he enjoys spending quality time with his daughter, Keely, watching Clemson football, and spending time outdoors.
Jane Merritt is a 1996 graduate of Wren High School. She received a Bachelors of Science degree in Business from Lander University in 2001. She is the backbone of Anchor Pools and one of the daughters of the founder. She has been working on pools since she knew the difference between a shovel and a hoe and is the one who has the answers to any of your pool questions. Jane is a huge Tennessee fan - her blood runneth orange - her other hobbies include traveling, American History, and spending time with her family. Jane attends numerous industry training and conferences to keep up to date with new technology. She also is a past president for the South Carolina Chapter of the Association of Pool and Spa Professionals.

Jeri Lynn Looper is a 1996 graduate of Wren High School. She is a married mother of two beautiful children and has been employed with Anchor Pools since 2007. Her hobbies include cooking on the Big Green Egg, reading, and spending time with her family. She is a very friendly and knowledgeable member of our staff and would be glad to assist you with any of your pool needs. Jeri Lynn has gone through Poolife Aquanology training, RITE training, and multiple equipment and parts training schools and is our resident Big Green Egg Expert.
John Hester graduated Easley High School in 2018. He came on board with Anchor Pools and has quickly made himself at home. He is a part of our service team and has been certified on Hayward and Pentair equipment repair. When he is not working, he fishes, hunts, watches Clemson football, and loves spending time with his family.

Mindy Pickard,employed by Anchor Pools since 2009, is a 1993 graduate of Wade Hampton High School. Mindy is the manager of our Easley location and she also handles our new vinyl liner and safety cover installs, warranty questions, and all things spa related. She also will be happy to assist you with any of your pool questions. She is a married mother of 3 beautiful children, and in her spare time enjoys swimming, reading, spending time with her friends and family, and volleyball.

Stephanie Helton has been working with us since 2016. She is in charge of our delivery program, website, and social media. She is a quick learner and will be glad to help you with any of your water care needs here in the store as well. She a mother of 2 beautiful girls, and in her spare time she enjoys spending time with them, going to church, and watching volleyball matches.

Susan Merritt Howard is a 1998 graduate of Wren High School. Susan is one of the daughters of the founder and a key employee of Anchor Pools. She is a married mother of two beautiful children and has been working at Anchor Pools since she could see over the counter. Her hobbies include camping, cooking, and swimming. Susan has gone through Poolife Aquanology training, RITE training, and multiple equipment and parts training schools and is our inventory controller.

Tony Young has been a member of our Anchor Pools family for 25 years. He is a 1979 graduate of Easley High School where he excelled at sports. He later played baseball at North Greenville College. His hobbies in his spare time include hunting and fishing. He is an integral part of our construction team overseeing that the customer's vision is fulfilled and the process is completed in a timely manner.
