This Network aims to uplift a marine-based culture through activities in the Seto Inland Sea area, conducted in cooperation between professional and amateur seamen/women and local people. Since suggesting a concept for a Seto Inland Sea Culture in 1989, it has promoted many activities in marine culture around the Seto Inland Sea with a core group of about 20 active members... The aim of this corporation's activities is to strive for the improvement in lifestyles, with the added aim of passing this positive effect on to the wider society.
