Dorothy Potts is a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist working at True North Hearing, in Dover, NH. She previously worked in Radiology and Nuclear Medicine for several years before starting a family. Dorothy became interested in working with the hearing impaired while working with non-verbal children on the Autism spectrum. After 14 years of working with children, she decided to start a new career in the hearing industry. After an extensive self-study program through the International Hearing Society and an on-the-job training program, Dorothy became a Licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist in New Hampshire and Massachusetts. She has been fitting hearing aids since 2008. Through extensive continuing education, she stays up to date on state-of-the-art hearing instruments and technology. Dorothy enjoys spending time with her family, especially her two granddaughters, reading, and going to the beach.

Jacqueline Stagg

Jacqueline Stagg joined the staff at True North Hearing in 2022. She is a licensed hearing instrument specialist and audiologist assistant in Massachusetts and in Maine. Jacqueline is a 2005 graduate of Bridgewater State College with a bachelor's degree in Spanish. She also fulfilled her requirements through completion of the communication disorders program at Bridgewater State College to be licensed as an audiologist assistant in 2008. She then earned additional licensure as a hearing instrument specialist. One of Jacqueline's favorite patient populations to work with are musicians. She enjoys enhancing their ability to perform, produce, and both functionally and pleasurably experience music through manipulating technology to suit their needs. Jacqueline is originally from Wellfleet, a small outer Cape Cod town in Massachusetts. She currently resides in Freeport with her husband, Bryan, and their golden retriever, Telly. She enjoys spending time by the beach, exploring throughout Maine, playing music, painting, and gardening.

Lindsay Allison is an Audiologist and Hearing Care Provider practicing primarily in our Augusta, Maine location. She is an Augusta native who moved back to Maine to raise her children. While serving in the US Air Force, Lindsay found her passion in audiology when she managed a Hearing Conservation Program and helped people better understand harmful noise, hearing protection, tinnitus, and hearing loss.

Marc's first career was as a Computer Engineer, working for several fortune 500 companies. He decided to change careers because of a desire to help people in a more personal manner. Marc picked hearing health because of the direct contact with patients and their families, and because of its many technical aspects. Marc has been providing that assistance since 2008. Marc is passionate about his family life. He is married to a wonderful woman, Michelle, and has adult children and many grandchildren, with hopefully more to come. Pamela O'Bert is an audiologist who has been providing healthcare for over 40 years, serving those with hearing loss in a variety of settings. She believes that amplification is only part of the solution. Spending time listening to people and getting to know their needs remains at the forefront of her approach as an audiologist. As hearing loss develops, the breakdown in communication affects not only the individual, but also the family and others around the person. Helping families negotiate these communication difficulties has been a goal throughout Pam's career. For Pam, hearing healthcare is an extremely rewarding career, and she enjoys the satisfaction of helping people achieve their communication goals. Pam, who relocated to Massachusetts from Tennessee, is married and enjoys outdoor activities with her family and friends. She has been active for many years, leading Ranger Kids in her church, organizing children's events, and teaching swimming and water safety to children.

Shannon O'Rourke

Shannon O'Rourke, Au.D., CCC-A is a recent addition to the True North team. Shannon's journey in audiology began with her undergraduate studies at the University of Connecticut, where she graduated in 2013 with a major in speech, language, and hearing science and psychology. She furthered her education by obtaining a Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from the same institution. During her audiology externship at the Yale Hearing and Balance Center within the Yale Medicine Department of Otolaryngology, Shannon gained valuable experience in diagnostic testing of hearing and balance, as well as with cochlear implants, bone conduction implants, and hearing aids. Following this, she spent two years working at Cape Cod Hearing Center in Hyannis, MA. Shannon is a member of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association. Her passion lies in witnessing the transformative impact of her work, as she helps patients enhance their communication with friends and family, enabling them to engage fully in their favorite activities. Beyond her professional life, Shannon enjoys knitting, reading, biking, running, and spending quality time with her beloved dog.
