ANCONA CONTROLS was founded in January 1998 by Beth Ancona to self-contract electrical controls design and build services to automotive Tier-1 suppliers. In 2003, Beth and her husband Albert (also an electrical engineer) started rectifier repair service work for a DC power company. Eventually DC rectifier repairs branched into full maintenance programs for DC and UPS equipment among multiple customers throughout Michigan and the Midwest eventually overshadowing and finally replacing the original controls design portion of the business.
