ANGLERS MARINE NC - Key Persons
Blake was born and raised in Charlotte, NC. He moved to Southport, NC with his family in 2016 and graduated from Greensboro College in 2019 with a degree in Business Management. He grew up coming down to Southport to visit his Grandparents and he enjoys fishing and boating on the intracoastal waterway.
Carter was born and raised in Statesville, NC. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Business Administration and now lives in Oak Island, NC. In the past, Carter has worked in the watersports rental business.
Chris is from Longs, SC. He joined the Anglers team in January of 2018 and has been a great addition. Before working at Anglers Marine, Chris worked as a mechanic on golf carts right down the road. Chris also is a registered firefighter and EMT. In his free time, he loves to hunt and fish.

Christine is originally from New Jersey, but now resides in Oak Island with her family. She graduated with an Associates degree in business management, and in her free time she loves spending time with family & friends, especially her daughter Nicole as well as her furbaby Sheeba. When she's not working you can find her playing cards and traveling.

David grew up in Fayetteville, West Virginia and has been out on the water since a young age. He attended Fork Union Military Academy for High School and went on to graduate from Virgina Tech with his finance degree. After graduating he returned to WV to own and operate a large marina and campground with his brother, beginning his 33 years within the marine business. Following in his brothers footsteps of moving to Harkers Island, David moved to the North Carolina coast in 2005 where he grew up vacationing. The two went on win the 1999 Big Rock Tournament with a 600 Lb. Blue Marlin. Since moving to Morehead City, David has worked for Jones Brothers Marine and spent the last 12 years working for Boats Unlimited, bringing years of hands on experience and knowledge to our team.
Dubie grew up on the waters of Charleston, SC where he enjoyed fishing, shrimping, and water sports year-round. After high school, he came up to NC to play collegiate football at North Carolina State University. In his 25 years in the marine industry, Dubie has amassed deep insight into the vast assortment of boat manufacturers and marine accessory suppliers. Having sold over 50 different boat lines in his career, he is adept at guiding customers to the right boat for their lifestyle and level of boating experience. So, whether you are looking to make your first boat purchase or looking to move up as a seasoned boater, Dubie will help you every step of the way. In his free time, Dubie enjoys spending time and making memories with his wife and three sons out on the water.
Evan is originally from Wendell, NC but recently moved down to the coast to start his career. Previously working in the service industry, Evan followed his passion for boating and which brought him to Anglers. In his free time you can find him fishing on his boat, or learning new recipes to cook up!
George was born and raised in the Bronx, NY and lived there until his retirement from the Automotive Industry in 2017, concluding a 40+ year chapter in his life. Now residing in Clayton, George has always had a passion for boating, even following his fathers footsteps and serving in the United States Navy during the late 60's. In his free time, George enjoys building model ships, as well as spending time with this eight grandkids.
Gray is from Greensboro, NC, where he worked sheriff's deputy until retirement. Upon retiring he and his family moved to the Holden Beach area and purchased a Key West 203 FS from Anglers. Gray spends a lot of his time behind the wheel transporting boat to our customers and between our various locations. When Gray isn't at work he enjoys spending time with his granddaughter and fishing on his Key West.
Hunter was born and raised in Sanford, NC. He has been competitively fishing King Mackerel tournaments out of Ocean Isle Beach, NC since he was 14. He acquired his captain's license at the age of 19 and graduated from Coastal Carolina University. Afterwards, he went to work for Scout boats where he water tested their 30-plus foot boats.
John is from St. Croix, an island in the Caribbean. He moved to Calabash, NC when he was 2 and has worked on fishing boats his whole life. He has worked on commercial, recreational, and charter boats along with fishing in local tournaments. John joined Anglers in October of 2021. In his free time he enjoys fishing and duck hunting.
Jordan grew up in Bolivia, NC fishing the coastal waters and rivers of the area with his dad. Before joining Anglers in February 2022, he worked as a contract turbine mechanic for Duke Energy and a part time hunting guide for quail and ducks. He's an avid duck hunter and spends most of his free time chasing ducks up and down the coast of NC.
Kent is from High Point, NC and spent some time up in New Jersey where he worked as a boat detailer and rigger for a marina. He moved back to North Carolina to be closer to his family and joined Anglers Marine, working to install custom electronics and rig boats. In his free time, Kent enjoys being outdoors, sports, and fishing.
Mark is originally from the Foothills of North Carolina, but moved down to Brunswick county 11 years ago. In the past, he has worked in customer service racking up 30+ years of experience within the field. In his free time Mark enjoys outdoor activities and shooting sports.
Michael Donaldson was raised in Garner, NC on pond fishing for largemouth and bream year around. After high school, he went to North Carolina State University to major in Fisheries and Wildlife with a Fisheries Concentration. While at NC State pursuing his degree, Michael fell in love with the collegiate tournament scene and fished with the NC State Basspack Fishing Team. After 4.5 years with NCSU and a degree in hand, Michael proceeded to work at Cabela's in the fishing, marine, and boat sales departments to continue to expand his knowledge across the many brands offered in all the departments. With Michael's in-depth knowledge of boats and boat options acquired from his multi-faceted background in the boating and fishing industry, he will aid you in your selection of the right boat. In Michael's free time, he takes high schoolers, collegiate, friends, and family anglers fishing on Jordan and Falls Lake and fly-fishes in the NC Mountains.
Patti is originally from Ohio, but moved to Charlotte, NC in the early '80s and joined IBM in the engineering department. She retired last October and moved to the coast, but found retirement boring so joined the Anglers Marine team, handling accounting and IT. In her free time, Patti loves to visit the beach with her boxer, Ella.
Paul is originally from Broadway, NC, a small town located just outside of Sanford. Paul has always had a love for boating and the outdoors. He started his career at Choplin Marine in Sanford, NC where he worked for four years. The love for boating and fishing drew him to the Ocean Isle area 7 years ago, which is what brought him to Anglers Marine. Paul's adaptability and care for customers is what makes him successful on our Anglers Sales Team. In his spare time, Paul still enjoys being outdoors and spending time with his 4 year old Pitbull, Bella.

Robert, known as Rob around Anglers, has always been around the water. He was born in Florida, but found his way up to North Carolina where he enjoys surfing and catfishing in his free time. He started working for Anglers Marine in 2004 as a boat detailer, but was promoted to a technician two years later. Rob is now our lead technician here, bringing years of mechanical experience to the Anglers service team.
Rona is originally from Bladen County. She and her family moved to Brunswick County in 2019 after traveling with her husbands' work. Rona enjoys spending free time on the beach and fishing with her husband.
Scott is originally from Laurinburg, NC. He graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelor's degree in Business Management. After graduation, Scott decided to move down to his beach house in Ocean Isle Beach. Shortly after being there, he found an opportunity to work at Anglers Marine. Scott has been boating ever since he can remember and found a great fit at Anglers. In his free time, he enjoys golfing and doing anything that involves being on the water with his dog Ace.
Sean is originally from Pinehurst, North Carolina, but moved down to Brunswick county around 15 years ago. Before coming to work at Anglers he worked as a Carpenter and still continues this passion in his free time. You can find him on his days off golfing and saltwater fishing.
Steve was born and raised around the water in Henderson, NC growing up on Kerr Lake. Since a young age, Steve has always loved boating and the outdoors, which eventually brought him to the North Carolina coast. Finding his way to Wilmington, Steve started his career at Marine Max where he spent 10 years perfecting his craft. Eventually relocating to Southport, NC with his wife 5 years ago, Steve has joined team Anglers as an experienced an knowledgeable part of our sales team.
Stuart is originally from Fayetteville, NC. Previously working as a firefighter and in other industries. In the last few years, Stuart moved to the Lockwood Folly area and has been a great fit to the Anglers team as a part time rigger. In his free time, he enjoys inshore fishing and especially flounder season.
Tammy is originally from Whiteville, NC but has also lived in Southport, Wilmington, and Virginia. She was a high school business and technology teacher for 29 years and recently retired. Her family then moved to Brunswick County where they enjoy fishing, golf, going to the beach, and all that the area has to offer.

Zack was raised in Grifton, NC where he grew up loving the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and mostly being on the water. Since he was born he's been out on boats, enjoying his time with friends and family. Zack now lives in Morehead City and enjoys being out on the water as much as possible and enjoying what the town has to offer.
